Review a trader

Our family have known Fergus (FT Davidson) for many years and we would always use this family firm. He and his brother have carried out a variety of work for both my daughter, who is severely disabled and my son. Fergus's wife Karina deals very efficiently with administration and any problems/issues. Everyone is very kind, polite and helpful and always goes the extra mile.

This friendly company I've now used twice. They're very helpful, polite, knowledgeable, prompt & tidy. The electrical work I needed done this time, was both for inside and outside my house. All dealt with very efficiently. No qualms in recommending them at all.

FTD have worked with our company for 20 yrs plus all over the north of Scotland including island works. They have supplied very well qualified electrical engineers to carry out basic electrical works to fully tendered building refits from housing, offices, Industrial units and workshops, meter installation, Nature Reserve Buildings, Agricultural buildings, Hydro systems, external lighting, EV charge points, fault finding, cable jointing, Castle refit and advised us on achieving Dark Sky Reserve on the Isle of Rum. We have FTD to be trust worthy, honest and reliable.

FT Davidson electricians assisted us with the assessment, removal, replacement and testing of flight-critical safety lighting on a helipad. The trader had all relevant trade certification up to date and provided this without hesitation. They completed all necessary HSE paperwork, and completed the job in a timely manner to a high standard. They provided a comprehensive test record.

I needed a couple of plugs changed into double sockets, I called and was booked in by Karina who was very kind and talked me through what to expect and pricing. Fergus arrived on time and was very good. He respected my property and talked me through everything making sure I was happy with the placement etc. Thank you to you both for making it such a good and stress free experience!!

I quite often have old buildings that have been maintained by multiple contractors in the past. Where there's been a difficult electrical issue that is hard to resolve I bring in FT Davidson as they have a wide range of knowledge and expertise. There is good communication between us. Where issues have been left in a state that is not satisfactory by others in the past quite often these are identified and resolved to an extremely high standards. I use F T Davidson from DB board and fixed wiring issues simple repairs to lights and fittings up to reinstall of dry heating systems ventilation issues.
All of which is high quality work.

Most recently I had a faulty socket replaced and a new smart thermostat installed, but have also used the company for other repairs and a new light was installed etc, always turn up at the arranged slot and have polite staff, my go to electricians!
