Our priority was to identify a company we felt we could trust to do a quality job. We had heard good things about Christies from friends and we checked out their website which we found informative. From the first contact we found the whole team responsive and professional in approach, and we are delighted with our new roof. Work was completed on time at the agreed price and we feel we have found a company who will be our first choice for any future roofing needs.

With regard to a Communal roof repair on Bryson Road; I especially appreciated that they have made the process as seamless as possible, with minimal disruption. All questions were answered, they had sound knowledge of the most appropriate products and helped to facilitate collecting funds from individual flat owners.

We have found W & S Christie Roofing experienced and knowledgeable on roofing works and competitive on costs. They have been quick to respond and efficient in the work they have done for us both commercially in respect of maintenance work they have done on our own office and domestically in respect of maintenance work done on a shared tenement in Edinburgh. They have also responded well and promptly in follow ups, provided considered advice and been rigorous in tracking down and pursuing illusive leaks. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

The first time I asked them to carry out work for me was last year, when I was experiencing damp from a flat roof. I was very pleased with the work they carried out on that occasion. Therefore, when again I had a similar problem, this time from another flat roof over my utility room, they were the chaps to tackle the problem. A new hopper head and down spout was fitted to take the water away. They made a very good looking job with brown coloured pipe work, which I asked for.
Two days later we experienced torrential rain which lasted all day - no damp has shown on ceiling - success, well done!

I would like to write a short note to say how impressed I have been, not only with work undertaken by W&S Christie but also the manor in which they have interacted with me. The job was to re-gutter my entire house and I could not be happier with the job done. Competitive price, done when I was told it would be done. They even came back to fix something a different tradesman had broken. Would definitely recommend.

I asked W&S Christie to quote for a repair to a shared sand stone chimney stack, and a resolution to a leaky roof in an extension.
While it wasn't the cheapest quote for the chimney repair, it felt the most honest assessment of the repair needed and my neighbour and I chose to go with W&S Christie for the chimney repair and roofing solution.
The whole process was smooth and everyone we spoke to was very helpful. There was never any mess on site, and a minor piece of damage to a gutter was advised to us immediately and repaired promptly.
The work looks perfect; the chimney sweep has commented on the quality of the work to the chimney and the room which had the leaky roof is now so warm following the re-roof it's become much more usable.

Very pleased with the overall job by Christie's. All concerned were very professional including office staff, roofers and scaffolders. Some additional work was identified when work on roof started but photographs were provided to show what needed to be done. I would certainly recommend this company.
