We had our double garage converted. After giving us a quote, we were given an estimate for the start date and it was pretty much spot on.

William and his team did a fantastic job completing our kitchen renovation. Work included the removal of nonstructural and structural walls, fitting our new kitchen, blocking internal doors, laying new floor, and removal of French doors to be replaced with a window. William kept in contact after his initial quotation and answered all the questions we had. William always turned up when he said he would and on time. We went to stay with family during the initial building work, William kept us updated regularly on how work was progressing and would call if there were unexpected works that needed rectified. He and his team cleaned daily after themselves and kept our home as tidy as possible when you're completing significant building work. Even our neighbours commented on how respectful and hardworking he and his team were.

William's work was fairly costed compared to other quotes we received. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him or using him again for any future building work.

We used WJS building services to build our two story extension. From start to finish the team were very professional and easy to work with. The job was completed on time to a very high standard. I would have no hesitation in using the team again and highly recommend.

We used WJS Builders to demolish a small outbuilding and carry out wall repairs within a garages compound in south Edinburgh. Organising this work was complicated for reasons unrelated to WJS Builders. But William was patient throughout the process and he and his colleague did an excellent job when the time came. The work was delivered to schedule, in line with the initial quote, and the site was left clean and tidy. William kept us updated on progress, and was on hand to give advice or suggestions when required. All in all, first class service and I would happily use the company again. Partial garage conversion. Work was carried out to a high standard. Good communication throughout and effort was made to keep the house as clean as possible.

Roof repair . William responded promptly to my request for a quote and was very responsive to any concerns including letting me see his certificate of insurance.He came to do the job when he said he would and took photos of the area needing to be repaired and the finished work which he showed me. He and his mate Brian were courteous and tidied up well behind them. All my questions were answered and I am confident the job was done well.

Having been disappointed with the response from two local companies to my request to have my garden wall rebuilt I contacted WJS BUILDERS LTD, William came in what I am sure was his lunch break and advised due to pressure of work it would be a few weeks before he could do the job but he would be happy to quote.
I accepted his quote and he arrived early on the agreed date with
enough material to make inroads into the job. Despite being let down by late delivery of the remainder of the material he worked
on 'till late in the day to complete what I thought would be at least a two day job that day.
He arrived very early the following morning before going to his next job to confirm all was in order and the site was left to my satisfaction. I advised him I was delighted and he must be a perfectionist to which he responded "there is no satisfaction in doing a shoddy job". Need I say more

We asked William if he could do our garage roof as despite the garage only just been built a year or so before it had been letting water in so everything in the garage was ruined and electrics etc stopped working. William came up and assessed the damage, talked us through different options and planned a day to start the work.
He arrived exactly when he said he was going to arrive, no changed days or times and he carried out the work perfectly!
Now after some heavy downpours I can say that everything in our garage is bone dry and I cannot recommend WJS builders Ltd enough!!

Super fast and helpful in a difficult situation

Had foundations dug & concrete plinth installed for a prefabricated garage.

Will communicated clearly, timeously & on coming out to the site identified any potential snags/issues that might occur & planned around it accordingly without any fuss. He provided an itemised quote accurately & quickly.

On the day the works were to take place, Will & his team arrived early & got underway & had the works completed on time & to budget. It was agreed that he would return later on to complete a retaining wall after the prefabricated garage was built.

Out with his control, there was a delay with the garage construction (1 month) but Will fully understood & managed to fit in the last remaining part of the works without any fuss/bother to myself.

Any questions I had Will was more than happy to answer & communicated clearly & in a manner that a lay person could understand. Really happy with the quality of the work carried out & with Will & his team who were polite, professional & left a clean & tidy site. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing work , very tidy and just what we asked will use again

I had a back exterior door infilled resulting in a solid wall with small kitchen window. Underfloor insulation was carried out also. William organised and oversaw all other works for my kitchen installation too. Plasterer, joiner and plumber. All rubbish was taken away via skip. Nice cheery workmen and apprentices. No problems with communication and a good job carried out to completion. I would definitely recommend WJS Builders for any building work.

William has been a pleasure to have working on our porch. He is down to earth, friendly and has been honest at all stages of the build. Giving advice and recommendations on different options depending on cost and long term durability of the construction. He was punctual and attended when he said he would and kept in communication throughout. Nothing was too much of a problem and he will be the first person we will call for any other projects. Very happy with the finished product.

Windows replaced. Quality product supplied at a fraction of the price quoted by other companies. Excellent friendly workmanship carried out at a time that was convenient to me ( I’m a shift worker).

Major internal work including knocking down an internal wall, removing a window and making space large enough to install sliding doors. Willie and his team turned up when they said, cleaned after themselves, secured the property prior to sliding doors being installed and solved other problems which crept up as the project progressed at since points even saving us money. Some of the work was done during the heatwave and the wall they were working on was south facing but they did not want to let us down and keen to finish the job on time which they did. Would highly recommend. Honest, local and very fairly priced. Thank you Willie and his team of highly skilled tradespeople.

used this individual twice. First job was erecting wooden fence-quality of work was such that I decided to appoint him to remove decking area and replace with slabbing. He has made an excellent job and tidied up after . He epitomises someone who takes a pride in his work. Would definitely use him again and would recommend him .

I had a porch added to my property last November. William turned up on time and worked through the short days with the weather often against him. Despite this, the project was brought in on time and beautifully finished.
