Vulcan were engaged through a long planning process where I changed my requirements, and they were flexible and accommodating throughout - right up to making changes once the work had begun. Their engineers were considerate of the other residents in the block and tidied up after themselves. They kept me informed, brought questions for clarification and did a great job fitting out the two bathrooms.

Used Vulcan Gas Services for some major works in a tenement flat. From the outset I found all the staff and tradesmen very helpful and courteous. They turn up when they way they will, work to a high standard and clear up at the end of each day. The works involved stripping out the old bathroom, removing the header tank, all lead piping and replacing with a new combo boiler. They also fitted a new consumer unit, and all pretty much within their estimated time and budget. I’d me more than happy to recommend these for all plumbing, gas and electrical works

Vulcan Services recently carried out a complete refurbishment of our son's bathroom. Fin and Brad did a great job in such a small place. They were extremely hard working and courteous. Thanks also to Des the project manager and Jade in the office.

As an elderly, disabled and widowed pensioner whose boiler was condemned, the customer care, professionalism and timeliness for getting a new boiler installed from this company is 2nd to none. Joe and and the team turned up when they said they would, were friendly, honest and extremely competitive price wise. Very clean and tidy workers who left my house spotless. Jade and Sharon in the office, were fantastic to deal with. Very knowledgeable, and always sent through email correspondence within a timely manner so that decisions could be made as quickly as possible. The team at Vulcan replaced our shower tray and enclosure, along with replacing the flooring and two wall panels in the bathroom, a number of ceiling lights around the house and a fan in the bathroom. The team were very professional, protecting the floors etc around the house as they worked, the work they carried out was completed to a high standard and they kept us updated so we knew how the work was progressing and roughly the time it would take. We would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely brilliant service from Des at Vulcan. He was able to attend my property at short notice and resolved a running water issue extremely quickly and professionally. Des also took the time to explain the issue to me and why it was happening which was great as it demonstrated that he was knowledgeable and even offered me tips on how to improve my home plumbing in the future. New gas boiler fitted recently following previous work to clear a blocked radiator pipe. We have used Vulcan Gas for over 15 years, for everything from tap replacement and boiler servicing to a completely new shower room, and have no hesitation in recommending the standard of their work. Des can be relied on to give helpful advice and offer solutions to problems, based on a wealth of experience, and Vulcan Gas is now used regularly by friends and family.

Sharon is a star! My parents' fireplace stove stopped working and I have been struggling to get someone to fix it for months now. Tonight I sent Vulcan an email and Sharon responded so quickly with what was wrong with it and figured out the issue straight away. Incredible and then she proceeded to advise for free over email how I go about fixing it. It is now working and I no longer need to worry about my parents being cold over the winter months. Thank you Sharon and it speaks volumes of your company's integrity that your advice was given so freely!

Had a bit of an emergency when my boiler suddenly packed in. I phoned Vulcan and despite being extremely busy, they managed to get an engineer out that day. The engineer quickly diagnosed the problem and had it back up and running in no time at all. Excellent value and I’ll definitely use them again.

Boiler and fireplace serviced.Des is great. He is efficient, courteous and shows up on time when he says he is going to do. That is huge in this industry where other traders have had me wait in all day only to cancel. Will always use VG. I've had bad experiences in the past with other traders and to find VG means I am in good hands.

Vulcan Gas has serviced my boiler for over twenty years. They have also installed a shower, installed smoke and carbon dioxide alarms to meet the new regulations, and done various other pieces of work in my flat. They respond at once to an emergency, provide a quick, efficient and safe service, and I would not contact anyone else for plumbing, gas or household repairs.

We have used Vulcan Gas many times for maintenance,replacement or repair on gas fires, radiators, central heating,plumbing etc They are efficient, reliable, knowledgeable ,experienced and always pleasant and helpful to deal with. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

A few years ago Vulcan Gas fitted my new boiler and a member of the team has been back to service it every year since. They also came to my rescue in an emergency and were especially helpful on that occasion. Everyone I've had dealings with has been friendly and efficient. As I haven't any comparisons, I can't really judge value for money but costs have always seemed reasonable.

Vulcan gas fitted a new kitchen tap for us and sorted a problem with our boiler. The person who came to do this work was very friendly and efficient and despite it being late on a Friday afternoon carried out the work to a high standard and wasn't rushing. He has been to our flat before for other plumbing issues as have other members of the team and the service has always been knowledgeable, friendly and of high standard. My parents have used Vulcan gas for years also. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you.

My wife and I recently had all the radiators in our house replaced by Vulcan Gas. Des and Joe did a fantastic job - very professional, very friendly. We have used Vulcan Gas several times over the last few years - new combi boiler, new bathroom - and have nothing but praise for their work. Joe carried out the annual maintenance check for my living flame gas fire. He arrived at the arranged time and his work was thorough. He was friendly and professional at all times. Also, the phone receptionist was helpful and was able to arrange a visit for me at fairly short notice.

Des and Joe did a fantastic job installing our new boiler and resolving the water pressure issues we have had for years. Des talked me through a number of options before we settled on a make/model and was incredibly useful. They did a great job which we're delighted with. Whenever I have a plumbing problem Vulcan Gas Services are the company that I always call first. No job is too small for them. A recent airlock in the upstairs cold-water pipe was sorted out by Des at very short notice for which I was very grateful, as he fitted-in this job to his schedule despite a generally heavy work-load. We needed the job done quickly since we decided to rush through with a property move before our first baby arrived. I used Vulcan for the first time recently, and wish I had discovered them years ago! Des identified and discussed with me the cause of several problems I was experiencing with my heating system, then rectified them all to my complete satisfaction. He and his co-workers were courteous, friendly and informative. I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism, and have already booked them to replace a gas fire burner.

Vulcan Gas installed my boiler about 2 years ago and I have used their plumbing services since for unrelated problems but this week Des earned my eternal gratitude by coming out to investigate and fix a leaking pipe the same afternoon I phoned. He managed to track down where a builder had put a screw through a copper pipe, taking up lino and floorboards, replacing damaged pipe and returning the room to rights, remaining friendly and cheerful throughout, despite it being well after 6 when he finished.

Initially had difficulty find a gas plumber who would still look after the Powermax boiler fitted as standard through my flats development). But Vulcan did, and I have continued to use them for boiler service. Will definitely be a preferred trader when the time comes for a replacement system too.

i have been using Vulcan for about 7 years. The team are great - always willing to help with plumbing emergencies at short notice- I am a landlord so this is important - whilst charging at a reasonable rate. Can highly recommend them

Called for an emergency involving a broken boiler and was told a new one would have to be ordered. The boiler was fitted in a day about 4 days after the original consultation and he even fitted a new light bulb in the hallway!
