UMEGA IS AN EDINBURGH SUCCESS STORY
We've been managing, repairing and maintaining thousands of properties in Edinburgh for almost 20 years. The company was founded in 2007 by two friends, Neil & Andy, and the business remains fully independent to this day. Umega started as a letting agency and we quickly established ourselves as one of the leading letting agencies in the UK on the back of a simple but rare approach of looking after people.
Managing and repairing properties, especially in a city as historic as Edinburgh, can be an eventful business so with whatever we encounter, we look after people, our customers and employees, above all else. Through our years of experience of repairing and maintaining the thousands of properties in our care, we’ve recruited a fantastic team of maintenance technicians and built a superb network of additional maintenance contractors.

Umega were awesome. Scott came round, fitted a lock box and coat rack, built a variety of furniture (wardrobe, desk, drawers) and also built a frame for hanging a boxing punch bag after advising on where best for it to go, and how best to fit it for the weight of the bag.
I've now asked for some further work on other things I need done and the customer service (from Peter) has been fantastic. Highly recommened.

Ryan and Craig from Umega Home Repairs attended to remove a built in cupboard in our kitchen and prepare an area for some under stair storage and new radiator that we are having installed. They arrived on time in the morning and got right to work. The job was completed quickly and with care. They also relaid the flooring and left the area clean and tidy. Very happy with the work and the guys! Thanks Umega!

Excellent service from Nadine from Umega Home Repairs, only booked yesterday, arrived on time, cleaned all the mess I had made applying sealant around my shower base and on the shower screen, reapplied it perfectly and tidied up afterwards too. Would not hesitate to recommend her for any jobs. Thank you Nadine!

Nadine came into the property we had just bought to neutralise some very strong colours on the walls added by the sellers. We knew this would take many coats on the walls and also on one particular ceiling the sellers had painted a copper colour.
After taking the keys we handed them over hoping the painting would help eliminate the wet dog smell which permeated throughout the flat.
What we hadn’t realised was the disgusting state the sellers had left the flat with months, if not years, of grime and grease evident the minute you got close to any surface after the flat was cleared. Also lots of mould to tackle in the bedroom cupboards where our transported clothes would lie.
Nadine did not make a big thing of the amount of preparatory work involved before she could even start painting but put her shoulder to the wheel and got on with what was required. We are so grateful for Nadine’s effort and work on our new home and although we had a lot of work to do with the rest of the cleaning before removals came we could at least happily know the worst had been sorted by Nadine. Thank you so much!

Flooring work done. Great company, on time, cleaned up after work was completed, wouldn't have known they had been there. Really friendly staff, just a great job with no drama. Would absolutely recommend this company for any work you are having done, amazing, would definitely use them again.

As a business we use Umega regularly for all our office maintenance, not only are they reliable and quick they are extremely friendly, helpful and all jobs have been carried out to the highest standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending them! No job is ever too small either which is refreshing !! Well done guys!

We have employed Josu of Umega on three different occasions. He has been superb and really excels at solving problems and repairing things. I highly recommend him for tiling work, flooring, refitting bathroom and utility rooms but also small jobs with curtain rails, shutters and doors. He is really efficient and reliable.

Very happy with the work carried out by Umega Home Repairs, the technician helped me with some odd jobs around the house, hung a tv and a mirror as well as fixed some loose handles on the interior doors! Great communication, quality of work and price!
