Can't speak highly enough of the team. So helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and we lived quite far from Edinburgh. The blinds look fantastic. Would highly recommend them. The balance of reasonable prices and his quality is good. Thank you.

We have had shutter blinds fitted in our bay window in our living room
(Victorian house) and are beyond thrilled with them!
The whole experience from meeting with Wilma in the show room, to the estimate with Craig, and then the fitting with Aggie and partner was so professional and friendly. Excellent advice and the end product surpassed our already high expectations. We love the shutter blinds and enjoy our living room so much more now.
The day after having these shutter blinds fitted we went back to order shutter blinds for a bay window in an upstairs bedroom. Think that says it all.
We cannot recommend The Edinburgh Shutter Company too highly.

Stevie took over the installation. He is very experienced and knowledgeable too. It was a smooth process. We are delighted with the shutters. They change the look of our room!

We have had two tier on tier shutters fitted in our lounge.
Edinburgh shutter company gave us the best price and we are very pleased with the service and the quality. Stevie fitted our blinds this morning. He was very thorough, clean and tidy.
We have asked for quotes on further windows and would definitely use the Edinburgh shutter company again for our shutter blinds.

They fitted a new Perfect Fit blind - £120.00. A bit expensive, but the fitted blind works perfectly. Knocked all the bottles of aftershave etc off the window sill. One of the bottles has hit the actual toilet and chipped it - see photos. Called and spoke with the owner. He said he had spoken with the guys that had fitted it and they said they hadn’t caused the chip. I have to say that I have dealt with this company over the years and never-ever had an issue with them. But I can assure you that I will NEVER deal with them again. He completely washed his hands of this taking the word of his employees (would they ever admit to doing this) over a loyal customer. I am not and never will allow anyone to imply that I am lying, that includes the owner.

We at the Edinburgh Shutter Company and Albany Blinds and Awnings strive to provide a smooth, faultless service for each and every one of our customers. Customer care is part of the amazing package we provide and our customer feedback and reviews clearly show this. We run an efficient and professional service for all our customers. On this occasion we were made aware of potential damage from yourself via a phone call 1 week after installation. We asked if you could send photos via email showing the damage and we would contact our fitting team immediately to assess what had happened. Once we had spoken with install team we contacted you back on the same day to confirm the damage couldn’t have been us, first and foremost the toilet seat was put down. A practice carried out on all our installs as we don’t want to accidentally drop anything down it. From your photographs the damage is on the inside rim which would have been covered – also the likelihood of a glass bottle of aftershave not smashing if dropped on the edge of a porcelain toilet is unlikely. We have appreciated your loyalty and custom and with positive feedback like yours we hope to continue and even improve the business for all customers in the future.

I had 2 quotes for new shutters for my dining room bay and main bedroom windows. I just felt the service and professionalism of Kevin ( who came to measure up, provide the quote and discuss and describe the different options available was fantastic. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Stevie and his son Jay to fit the shutters. The service from them both matched the service i got from Kevin and the whole process has been easy, extremely efficient and professional and i can only pass on my sincere thanks to everyone. Got shutters fitted by Stevie & Jay in all bedrooms and living area at the front of the property and they look fantastic.
Despite the delay between date or order to supply - they were well worth the wait and the regular updates (from Wilma in the office) on supply status and install date helped keep me assured that some investments are worth waiting on.
The install was very good with an excellent finish, product demo on explanation around maintenance a great help.
