Admin slightly casual but an excellent product and a superb installation team. Stevie Walker and his assistant Agnieska were thoroughly helpful and professional in all aspects of their work.

Very prompt responses. No hard sell. Provided lots of information and useful advice. Stuck exactly to promised time lines. Very neat and quick installation and cleared up afterwards! Looks great.

We are delighted with our shutters - they look fantastic and the service from Stevie and especially Agneska who installed them this morning was efficient and courteous. The reason for not being a full 5 star review was that the delivery and installation was about a month later than the date given and while we now know the reason for this we felt that communication re the progress of our order was poor. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company but feel they need to let clients know that there will be a fairly long wait between ordering and installation. But super job now it has actually happened.

They were so helpful in making sure I chose the right shutters, way better than others that came to quote. I would highly recommend them as they had great customer service and the quality of the product is beautiful.

Shutters fitted on 6 windows. Everyone we dealt with in ESC were very professional and delivered excellent customer service. We were kept informed throughout the process and all times and dates were adhered to. Stevie and Aggie were very efficient and tidy whilst installing the shutters. Thanks to the whole team :-)

Oh my goodness this company have been amazing from the first call out to measure up and quote, to the fitters (Jay and oh sorry can’t remember the other name but they were fabulous, clean, tidy and great at their jobs). Thank you - I love my new blinds and will need to start saving to get the other windows done now.

Recently got both roman blinds and poles fitted in my newbuild house. The quality of the blinds are beautiful and a wide range to pick from in the showroom. The two guys who came were absolutely fab, quick, professional and very helpful- advised where to put the poles to fit the curtains. Would recommend this company!

No fuss on the day of installation and the guys cleaned up behind themselves.

Extremely happy with the shutter blinds that I had installed in one room of my home, so much so my husband and I are greatly considering using this company again for our other rooms.

Excellent product with good service at the outset (this did slip a little in between due to their increased workload) but overall, I am happy with product, the cost was excellent and the workmanship of Aggi and Stevie was great.

Edinburgh shutter co. Provided and installed shutters for all our front windows. They look brilliant, we’re very happy.
Craig was great at the initial visit, and as we had new windows and no coverings offered complimentary temporary blinds, including for the rooms that weren’t being done, which was a really nice touch.
We did have to chase them for the blinds and had a wait of 3 + weeks. And unfortunately when we got them the ones for the extra rooms were missing, and this was never addressed, despite phone calls. Hence the 3 stars for reliability.

Having said all that, the actual shutter service was spot on. Stevie and Aggie were excellent, both when installing blinds and latter the shutters. They were extremely careful with floors/walls and other surfaces, very friendly and professional, and Aggie stayed behind to make doubly sure everything was as it should be. Brilliant service there. So would still recommend, as that was what we were really paying for.

Shutters fitted last year, noticed over time a couple of pieces of trim had become loose/detached. Contacted The Edinburgh Shutter Company, Steve and Jay attended within the week and carried out the remedial work without any fuss. Further checks carried out on the remaining shutters with no further issues noted.

The company indicated at the time of purchase that should we have any concerns, they would resolve these without causing a drama and this has definitely been the case. Would recommend The Edinburgh Shutter Company who carried out the work with great care.

Had white folding shutters fitted to my bay window and office window, delighted with the work and craftsmanship, they were on time, very friendly and complated the job in my timescales.

They fitted a new Perfect Fit blind - £120.00. A bit expensive, but the fitted blind works perfectly. Knocked all the bottles of aftershave etc off the window sill. One of the bottles has hit the actual toilet and chipped it - see photos. Called and spoke with the owner. He said he had spoken with the guys that had fitted it and they said they hadn’t caused the chip. I have to say that I have dealt with this company over the years and never-ever had an issue with them. But I can assure you that I will NEVER deal with them again. He completely washed his hands of this taking the word of his employees (would they ever admit to doing this) over a loyal customer. I am not and never will allow anyone to imply that I am lying, that includes the owner.

Supply and fit of four shutters. Initial visit to showroom was very welcoming, appointment arranged with Craig who promptly arrived on time and confirmed 8-10 week for supply and fit. Fitting took place 18 October however bedroom shutter was put in place regardless of the fact that it was the wrong one and didn't fit properly either also kitchen shutter had no surround mouldings attached and these had in fact been agreed with Craig at initial meeting and measuring, when both issues where pointed out to Stevie he did not seem concerned but confirmed that this would be recitified and that correct shutter would be airfreighted within three weeks this never happened however 7 weeks later call to confirm shutter had arrived however due to festive period, there was very limited availability with an agreeable date however 7 January 2019 was the first date agreeable by both parties but bearing in mind that my original order was placed end of July 2018 the 8-10 weeks has never been achievable from day one. I have to express my gratitude to Aggie who resolved the issues and carried out a first class job with my kitchen shutter. Edinburgh Shutter Company would benefit from more people like Aggie on your payroll who do take care and pride in their work.

In regards to my negative feedback if I may I believe most sincerely that I have not received a first rate customer service. I can honestly say that I have never experienced a more personal,unprofessional approach to business as I have with your company.
I have absolutely no hesitation,and will be blunt,about where I believe Edinburgh Shutter Company failure lies. After my problem ( wrong measurements 9 November )with one of my four shutters, I received lots of promise and priority comments that never came to fruition,only more disappointment and unprofessional customer service. To add insult to injury I was astounded to here back from The Manage Director the lies that one individual relay back to cover his unprofessional approach to what should have been a first rate customer service. I have not had the pleasure of working with ( and the wording 'with' is key ) some supremely industrious diligent staff. In overview the team consistently failed to exceeded my expectations, hope things change when the problem of my outstanding shutter is fitted on the 11 February.
