Taylor Roofs

I contacted Taylor Roofs to undertake a survey of my roof to see if they could proved a solution to the condensation problems in my loft. The survey was carried out in a very timely manner and a solution was quickly identified (installation of vents). I was given a realistic timescale as to when the work would likely commence and the time it would take to complete (both of which turned out to be pretty accurate). The roofers who carried out the work (Craig, Dylan and Reece) were very efficient and did an excellent job - many thanks guys. I would highly recommend Taylor Roofs as throughout the whole process they provided a friendly, efficient and professional service. Keep up the good work!

There was a leak below the solar panels installed on the roof of my property. It took a while to find a company that has experience with solar panels and can fix the problem in the roof. The company surveyed it and provided a quote. They then informed that the waiting period was about 12 weeks. We agreed a date and they came to fix it. The job was done expertly and the roof is intact (I believe). The staff were friendly and the work neatly done.

Some tiles needed replacing on our roof. They arrived on time and completed the job within the time specified. The work at this point in time appears to be satisfactory.

Had a new flat roof fitted by Taylor Roofing. Due to weather, etc quite a long time between deposit payment and original given start time, although the team then arrived 2 weeks early which was great. Robert and his co-worker (sorry, I have forgotten his name) were very friendly and seemed very happy in their work. They pushed to get the job completed, working late on the Friday evening and even though it was getting dark, still left everything very tidy and clean. Final price was reduced to take account of materials not used. Would recommend to others.

I used Taylor Roofs for building a warm roof on a garage conversion (to a garden room), and new roughcasting on side wall. I'm satisfied with the whole process. Quote was prompt and competitive. Work was done to a high standard. My only complaint is that there was very little time between some of the work being scheduled and carried out (ie less than one day), meaning it was difficult to warn my neighbour as he had to move his car.

Engaged with Taylor Roofs to have 4 hips replaced on my roof. Found them expensive but went ahead as they came across well. The experience was not as expected. The hips were all out of alignment and they had to refit after I complained. The membrain barrier was not fitted properly and they had to reapply, again I had to push them on this. They also started flying a drone around my house without my permission taking photos, again I had to complain and stop them from doing this. I hate to think what kind of a mess there would have been was I not on top of the job.The job was to be signed off by a supervisor, he came out said he went up to inspect the job, and that he was happy with it. I asked how he got up the scaffolding and he said he climbed up it; so much for Health and Safety. After he left I checked my security cameras, and he did not go up at all, he just took pictures from ground level. I emailed the owner asking him to come and see me as I was unhappy with the job, he refused saying he does not see customer. It has now been 6 weeks since the job was completed, I do not think it is a very good job and still have 4 more hips to do and will be asking another firm to complete this work. I was promised my guarantee a week after completion, I called them and they said it was forth coming and I have still not received this over 6 weeks later
