Taylor Roofs repaired the damage to my roof made by Storm Eowyn and cleaned the gutters.
Everyone you speak to at Taylor Roofs is very helpful, efficient and kind. They had come out quickly to make the roof watertight, then effected the repairs. The men who came to repair the roof were speedy, efficient and friendly. They took away removed slates and any rubbish etc.

Remove all existing dry verge units & dispose
Install new 25mmx50mm treated timber to barge board
Re-secure tiles Install dry verge units
Replace missing end cap on new dry verge system on main roof with a
UPVC end cap to cover end ridge tile
Fit new lead flashing at top of verge on extension using code 4 390mm

The staff were very friendly and efficient from initial quote stage to completing the work. The work was carried out quickly and they were especially helpful when we need a quicker works start date to help with elderly fathers home safety needs. I have used Taylor Roofs twice and each time I have been very happy with the standard of work and care shown at the property.

Stripping, reboarding and retiling of a sloped roof in Livingston, West Lothian. The roofing crew boss was unfailingly polite and friendly and always kept me informed about what was happening on site. They weatherproof as they go. The work was completed in 3.5 days and the skip removed the day after. I paid 35% up front before any work starts and the balance within 3 working days after completion.

The work I needed to be carried out consisted of fixing cracks in roughcast on a chimney, removal of an aerial from said chimney, removal of a small skylight and making good the area left behind. The inspection was done thoroughly and photos were taken. Additional work was recommended, which made complete sense, and I accepted the company's quote. When work started it turned out that the state of the chimney was worse than anticipated, with the top foot or so of brickwork being precariously loose. Video evidence was taken to show the extent of the damage. Even though the job changed, the quote was honoured and the chimney and other work on the roof was carried out to satisfaction. The whole process was much less stressful than I had expected. Bad past experiences had made me a bit anxious beforehand which turned out completely unnecessary in this case. Definitely a company I would recommend.

After damage to roof slating caused by storms researched on line reviews for local contractors and found Taylor Roofing had excellent reviews. The Roofing Surveyor promptly visited to undertake an inspection and highlighted the nature and extent of the damage. Photographs were taken. The quotation was submitted with the photographs. Additional damage was found to the flat felt covered rear extension roof. The works and cost were accepted.The repairs were undertaken very quickly and professionally.

This was a tricky repair to my roof. Barry and Aaron had to be creative to ensure the repair would work. They worked hard and kept me informed all the way through. They also fixed other minor issues with the roof and took pictures of the work to show what had been done. Everything was cleaned up and waste removed. Great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

I used Taylor Roofs for building a warm roof on a garage conversion (to a garden room), and new roughcasting on side wall. I'm satisfied with the whole process. Quote was prompt and competitive. Work was done to a high standard. My only complaint is that there was very little time between some of the work being scheduled and carried out (ie less than one day), meaning it was difficult to warn my neighbour as he had to move his car.

I arranged a survey and the two surveyors came to site exactly when they said they would and sent on a quote within hours. I accepted the quote and a date was confirmed for installation. The office team were in touch in advance to advise what would be coming and when and the roofing team turned up exactly as advised. They were polite, worked hard and tidied up as much as they could after each day.
On the final day, the supervisor arrived on site to check the work and gave me an overview. The skip was promptly collected and the scaffolders arrived to disassemble within hours of the job being complete.
I would highly recommend Taylor Roofs - reliable, value for money and professional!
