From our first point of contact with Sean to arrange a quote with Clive we knew right away that we wanted Spruce Garden Services to carry out the work on our drive. We wanted total replacement and widened. Clive listened to what we wanted, gave suggestions followed by a quote, which we felt was very reasonable. We got a date, and this was brought forward.
Willie and Tino arrived on time and worked nonstop through horrendous weather to get the existing drive etc. lifted. Next day prep, followed by laying the bricks. From start to finish 3 days. The guys were really nice and we felt very at ease with them. The rest of our property was treated respectfully and no damage. Consideration was given to how the work was being Impacted on neighbours.
I always go on first impressions and would have no doubt in recommending Spruce, first class service from start to finish, amazing guys doing the job.

Spruce Garden Services carried out grounds maintenance at one of our large stores in Edinburgh. The staff were more than happy to give the following feedback -

The grounds' maintenance went very well, they were here for the last 3 days and went around the entire building and car park, didn’t disturb customers and disposed of all their waste as they worked so nothing left aside at any point. Building exterior and car park looks great now.

The guys from Spruce cleared our front garden of rocks, unwanted trees and shrubs, as well as removing 3 large dead trees from our back garden and huge pampas grass. Very professional throughout and left the place spotless. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting garden clearance.

Gardeners arrived promptly at the agreed time, and were very quick and efficient. The back garden in which they were working is only accessible through the house, via a narrow corridor, and they took particular care when moving the garden debris (a small felled tree, hedge cuttings and an old trellis) along this route - even cutting up the larger branches so as not to scrape the interior walls.

Inevitably, some leaves and clippings dropped off inside the house, but the gardeners swept everything up, both inside and out, and the mound of debris that had been piled up at the front of the house was removed spotlessly within a couple of hours of the work being finished.

Recommended. Would hire again.

We use Spruce Garden Services for regular garden maintenance throughout the year and find them to be consistently professional, reliable and cost effective. Recently I asked them to lay red aggregate around our building and they've done a super job. They will always be our first port of call for any landscaping or gardening and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Pruning back and tidy up of my mums garden. Did a great job as was unmanageable for my elderly mum. Will be getting them back in spring to do the shrubs that couldn’t be done in autumn!

We are very pleased with the work done on our garden, with new slabs, raised beds and a relaid lawn. Willie and his team did a great job, and were always helpful and responsive to our queries and requests. I have no hesitation in recommending The company to others.

A small bit of garden redesign with lawn removed and replaced with a path and new beds. Excellent workmen who cared about the quality of what they were doing. Overall the job was carried out on time (although a few annoying gaps in attendance). Good value for money and a company I’d use again.

Spruce Garden Service has been my regular monthly gardeners for a number of years. with back problems I cannot do the work myself and can rely on them to carry out neatly and professionally. Access to my garden is by a locked side gate, so if golfing all I need do is leave a note on my door with instructions what work I want carried out.
This was a one of job to lollypop a spruce tree. Not the first time. Arrived on time and even though there was a large wasps nest inside where they had to cut, it was not a problem.

Pruning high shrubs etc, some in a courtyard with only access through house. Work done efficiently and all prunings removed without leaving any mess.

Front hedges cut and tree pruned in back garden. I have used spruce gardens a couple of times now and iam very pleased with work carried out and pleasant workers each time.
