Spruce Garden Services

I had Spruce Gardens tidying up my rockery and pruning some shrubs. They also power washed my garden slabs.
From the outset they have been so efficient and reliable. Their service has been second to none and the gardeners who carried out the work were respectful and tidied up after the work was completed. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The Spruce Gardens Team were very good.
We hadn't used them previously, but they came recommended by friends.
They turned up to give a quote at a mutually agreed date and time, and agreed the extent of works, giving advice on how the works would be best carried out......not at additional cost.
They carried out the agreed works, which included pruning a fair sized Rowan Tree, on agreed date and time,  and we were delighted  with the way the works were carried out.
The two guys who came to do the work were polite, hardworking and checked in for clarification before any works were started.

We will be using them again, and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

General tidy of front and back gardens (weeding borders, grass cutting, pruning, etc.). The guys worked very hard for over 2 hours and did a thoroughly professional job. I will now be using the service for regular maintenance over the forthcoming season.

Spruce Garden Services completed some work on a shared tenement garden in Edinburgh, organised by myself. They were very accommodating for scheduling around my time requirements.

The work completed was to a good standard and a discussed, if there were any ambiguities they checked with me.

They completed everything quickly and with no fuss.

Spruce Garden Services did a great job on a complete makeover of our small, urban garden. They were hard-working and professional, on time and on budget. They coped well with having very little space to work in and nowhere to park outside our house - they had to ferry all their kit and all the new slabs, plants, gravel, and soil from the end of the road. They also impressed the neighbours, who were very grateful that, when they finished each day, they tidied up and hosed down the pavement and the street that they had to use as a work area so as not to inconvenience anyone.

They fulfilled their brief completely and I would strongly recommend them.

Pruning of wisteria and placing of support wires. End results were satisfactory but co-ordination between the two Spruce teams involved (gardeners to do the pruning and landscapers to fix the wires) was poor, with the result that both teams had to return for a second visit in order to tie the pruned wisteria to the newly affixed wires.

Spruce did a lovely job of bringing our back garden up to date. I was particularly impressed by the politeness of their employees. They tidied up each evening and were very helpful and respectful.

There was one very minor snagging issue that was sorted out speedily, and it was apparent that customer service is Spruce's priority.

I would not hesitate to use them again and I would certainly recommend them.

I have used Spruce for a number of years both landscaping my garden and general pruning and maintenance and would recommend their work. They turn up when they say, do a good job and clear up after themselves. They are polite and great to deal with. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend.

From our first point of contact with Sean to arrange a quote with Clive we knew right away that we wanted Spruce Garden Services to carry out the work on our drive. We wanted total replacement and widened. Clive listened to what we wanted, gave suggestions followed by a quote, which we felt was very reasonable. We got a date, and this was brought forward.
Willie and Tino arrived on time and worked nonstop through horrendous weather to get the existing drive etc. lifted. Next day prep, followed by laying the bricks. From start to finish 3 days. The guys were really nice and we felt very at ease with them. The rest of our property was treated respectfully and no damage. Consideration was given to how the work was being Impacted on neighbours.
I always go on first impressions and would have no doubt in recommending Spruce, first class service from start to finish, amazing guys doing the job.

Spruce Garden Services carried out grounds maintenance at one of our large stores in Edinburgh. The staff were more than happy to give the following feedback -

The grounds' maintenance went very well, they were here for the last 3 days and went around the entire building and car park, didn’t disturb customers and disposed of all their waste as they worked so nothing left aside at any point. Building exterior and car park looks great now.

We are very pleased with the work carried out by Spruce Garden Services. The job was done in agreed timescale and they kindly organised the skip delivery/collection for the debris. The guys from Spruce cleared our front garden of rocks, unwanted trees and shrubs, as well as removing 3 large dead trees from our back garden and huge pampas grass. Very professional throughout and left the place spotless. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting garden clearance.
