Kept me well informed. Did a great job. Great tidying up job too and they even took away some clippings from another tree for me.

This was our first meeting ,and usage ,
of Spruce Garden Services.
They were super!
Tree pruning, bushes trimmed and grass cut and all with great courtesy and hard work.
I look forward to them looking after our garden in the future.

General tidy of front and back gardens (weeding borders, grass cutting, pruning, etc.). The guys worked very hard for over 2 hours and did a thoroughly professional job. I will now be using the service for regular maintenance over the forthcoming season.

I had Spruce Gardens tidying up my rockery and pruning some shrubs. They also power washed my garden slabs.
From the outset they have been so efficient and reliable. Their service has been second to none and the gardeners who carried out the work were respectful and tidied up after the work was completed. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The team did an amazing job of removing overgrown ivy . They were super efficient and garden left 100% better than before they arrived!!

We have used the Services of Spruce Gardens for many years and wouldn’t not go anywhere else. In addition to our normal garden maintenance they recently removed some unwanted large bushes- very efficient!

New fence installed. Spruce Garden Services turned up to do the quote and work when agreed. Provided the quote quickly and had very good suggestions about how the fence could be built. Completed the work quickly and neatly and did a very good job.

We had an overgrown front garden completely cleared and landscaped ready for planting. The work was done carefully and well, and fully tidied up afterwards. All of the team were polite and friendly and quickly solved any problems that came up.

Reduction in height of high leylandii hedge. The job was well done and all debris collected and cleared by the operatives. I would definitely recommend Spruce Garden Services to all my friends.

Green garden oasis in the city!

Fabulous all round service from the team at Spruce!

Turned a relatively small area, approx 7m x 5m, with an old deck and drab chippings into a lovely green space! Total transformation and very happy with the results. Special shout out to all the guys on the hard landscaping side of things - Scott, Alan and Ronnie - who were tireless workers and very helpful and tidy too, and also Clive who was extremely knowledgeable, skilful and helpful with the planting plan, design aspects and support during the course of the job.

Patio and stepping stones to allow semi-disabled wife to cross garden. Great care taken to ensure stones in correct places. Very friendly and helpful workers

We bought a new home last year - it came with grass front and back but with minimal paving. The back garden also had a significant slope on it. We had clear ideas for what we wanted to do and pitched our requirements to a host of landscaping firms, most of which were on this website.

All helped improve our design but ultimately we went for Spruce - their quote was very competitive and guaranteed irrespective of any rising material costs. We were also impressed with Craig's suggestions as to how we could make the design better. We awarded them the work in November 2021 with the expectation that work would begin in June 2022. Thankfully they were able to bring forward the work date and work began on site in late March.

Clive was the overall director of the landscaping and the planting work. Jason was the project leader and was onsite daily for the four weeks of the transformation. He was aided by a whole host of team members and there were rarely less than 3 people on site - all of the team were very polite and very easy to get on with. So thank you to Willy, Alan, Kieran, Valentino, Flash, Robert and Scott. Throughout we were impressed with their attention to detail of the work, the paving in particular, that has resulted in in a high quality finish.

Clive created a planting design for front and back and that was just done in late June - it looks great and hopefully it will bed down and mature through time. Thanks to Mike and Aaron for the planting.

We now have great looking gardens front and back that fully meet what we wanted. We would happily recommend Spruce for landscaping and gardening work.

We had purchased a neglected patch of council land and wanted to convert it into an attractive outdoor space for our Childcare setting. The transformation provides areas for play, quiet time and learning to grow our own plants. The work was carried out promptly and efficiently by a very sociable team. We could not be more pleased with the changes that have been made and look forward to having this team maintain the plot for us in the future.

We had a complete garden clear out (trees and overgrown shrubs out) and also a new fence built by the guys from Spruce Garden Services. Everyone who worked on site was amazing. Great workmanship and professionalism, would definitely recommended.

Spruce not only built, but helped design a fantastic new raised platform/decking area around a wonderful old Chestnut tree in our adventure playground.

The team could not have been more professional and were a pleasure to have on site - even when it was pouring with rain!

As a charity for children with disabilities, we have to watch every penny and we feel that the Spruce team gave us excellent value for money. They were flexible enough to 'tweak' our design as they went along and completed the work to a very high standard within a very tight timescale.

We would not hesitate to use Spruce again.

Carried out the work of cutting back an overgrown leylandii hedge very efficiently.

i used the company last year to replace my driveway and paths and to build a decking area. All the work was exemplary, and they provided excellent advice regarding the design of the drive and the decking . The team were extremely efficient and they left the site very clear after work was completed. All communication was clear and timely and they delivered exactly what we wanted.

I would recommend strongly and have recently used them again for a winter garden tidy up. This was carried out very efficiently to a high standard, and with close consultation with me throughout.

My initial contact with them was via the Trusted Trader scheme and in this case it worked very well.

Spruce did an excellent job in my garden. They cleared a large overgrown shrub border. The three guys that came were hard working, thorough and friendly. Robert was great at organising things and giving advice. Everything was left neat and tidy. I am delighted with the result. I will be using Spruce again and highly recommend them.
