Spruce supplied and planted out a number of beech tree plants in our front and rear garden. The work was carried out within days of accepting the quotation and we are very pleased with the final result. The two staff who completed the work were extremely pleasant, professional and hard-working.

Spruce garden services undertook an initial, fairly substantial garden tidy-up prior to beginning regular garden maintenance of my parents' garden. We are very happy with the work done so far; my parents are "delighted". We found them to be a professional, efficient and most approachable business to deal with; and feel confident we made the right choice of gardening service.

I had Willie from Puzzled Monkey / Spruce garden services, who completed the job to a very high standard. Willie was highly professional, paid attention to detail and was quick to adjust and find solutions to all minor issues that popped up during the hard landscaping work. Tidy-up of my back and front gardens, which had fallen into neglect as a result of the lockdown. My grass, shrubs and large hedge were all overgrown and weeds had taken up residence in my flowerbeds and edges. The team from Spruce turned up on time both to provide estimate and carry out the work. They did a wonderful job, carrying out my wishes exactly and completely transforming gardens from wilderness to beauty. They worked diligently and removed all waste. Afterwards I even received a follow-up call to make sure everything has been done to my satisfaction. In my experience Spruce is a friendly, highly professional and competent company that I hope to use again in future and which I'd highly recommend to anyone.

The Spruce Team is professional, reliable, courteous, and were up for tackling my challenging garden. I'm extremely pleased with the work they've done, which included heavy-duty weeding, grass-cutting and lawn care, hedge-trimming, and path clearing. I've signed up for their regular garden maintenance plan, and I thoroughly recommend them.

The garden had been neglected over the past two months with grass needing cut, overgrown bushes tidied and weeds removed.
As I had previously used Spruce, I telephoned them and was pleased they could arrange for two of their men to come within a week to do the job.
They arrived on time, and worked continuously until the work was completed. I was most pleased with the finished work and would recommend them to my friends.

I asked Spruce to quote for a "spring clean" of our large back garden, including removing compost infested with wild garlic, trimming large overgrown bushes, weeding and power hosing the terrace. The team from Spruce were polite and efficient.

We are delighted with the outcome of the work. It has transformed a large, bland grass covered 2 tier rectangular space into and inviting garden with patio areas, natural stone paths and flowing free form steps connecting the two levels with fully planted borders and full range of plants, shrubs and trees.

Helped with redesign and hard landscaping of our garden. Had to wait ages as they were busy, but knew that. Able to give input to design e.g. requested a weather vane, ask for Scottish wood products etc.
The team leader was very hard working and made sure junior team members kept up. Weather very variable during the project but they worked steadily. Minor delay was understandable and explained. Happy with the result six months on!

Booked Spruce Garden design to remove some trees and a large hedge from our garden and prune back another 2 trees and cut a hedge around our garden perimeter. Had to wait 6 weeks when I booked as they were so busy, but worth the wait. The team turned up on two of the most horrendous days last week - torrential rain. They worked right through even when I said I had no problem with them waiting until the weather cleared.
Very polite workmen, cleared every piece of debris up and took it away too.
Will definitely use again.
