I have been a long-term user of Spruce's garden services. And I have found them to be very reliable.
I had a new patio and stairwork laid. The work was done professionally and with great attention to detail, using high quality products. The job was (unavoidably) noisy and dirty but the workmen at Spruce endeavoured to keep that to a minimum and the end result is excellent.

We use this company for our regular garden maintenance, but this was a one off major tidy up. As always the guys are efficient, cheerful and go the extra mile to ensure that the customer is satisfied, especially George, who has a wonderful ‘can do’ attitude. I highly recommend this company.

My garden had become overgrown over lockdown and I hadn't time to properly maintain it. Spruce did a brilliant tidy up job of weeds, beds, bushes, ivy, and trees, and the garden now looks back to its best. From the first appointment to get a quote I found them to be a very professional and reliable company. The guys who came to do the garden were really hard working, courteous, and professional, and left the garden in great shape. I would't hesitate to recommend Spruce if you need any garden work doing.

We had a patio laid with new retaining wall and foundations.
The team were all very professional and worked hard whilst on site. Communication was good.
The materials were delivered on time and the had a portable toilet so all the work was covid safe and they didn't need to come in the house. They left it all very tidy.
Skip and loo taken away promptly.

This is the second time this year that Spruce/Puzzled Monkey have done work in our garden and we will definitely get all future gardening/hard landscaping work done by them. The service was excellent from start to finish.
This time we had our old shed removed and a beautiful patio area laid with a gravel path.
The team was again very professional, hard working and punctual, leaving the garden in an immaculate condition.

This is the third occasion I have used Spruce and like the other two I am very happy with the work. I had grass removed, membrane and edging supplied and flint pebbles laid in my small back garden. I was helped by Clive with the design and the 2 landscapers did a brilliant job. They were quick, efficient , knowledgeable and worked well together. The job was done in a morning- no mess! Thank you again and for me- money well spent!

Spruce Garden Services came out of their usual area to quote for the work. I am delighted with the result. My garden was badly overgrown but the 3 gardeners worked so hard and now I have a garden to be proud of. The guys were so pleasant and friendly, even took my bins in!

This is the second time I've used Spruce Garden services. Work this time included a redesign of an overgrown part of the garden, laying a new path, installing raised flower beds, landscaping and tidying up of existing trees. Really happy with the quality of their work, the guys did a great job (including on a couple of days when the weather was pretty poor!). I'm sure I'll use again in future.

Friendly, efficient (all neatly tidied when they finished their work). Very professional. A knowledgeable team (people who actually knew about plants and how they should be pruned or not) and they who did a great job, left my garden looking lovely. Highly recommended.
