I was very happy with the service provided. Excellent communication, timekeeping was great and the price quoted was the price charged. I'd happily recommend Scott Findlay and will definitely use again for any plumbing/heating needs.

This was a 3 part job, initially doing an annual inspection which resulted in the boiler being condemned. This meant that I was reliant for heat on a stand alone gas fire which didn't work after the inspection. Engineer arrived quickly, fixed fire and left a fan heater in case of a problem. A new boiler was arranged for only a week's time and consisted of a 2 day job.

I found dealing with every department in this company an absolute please: the inspection, engineering, installation experts and the folk I emailed and spoke on the phone to were superb; helpful, friendly and efficient, and conscious that their client was a vulnerable elderly person, so went out of their their way to make her a priority.

This is one of the best companies I have dealt with.

New Boiler and extended flue . From the point when their engineer , Cameron,
arrived to carry out the survey right through to joiners and plasterer replacing the pipe box, this company was extremely professional and I cannot praise them enough. Cameron was the lead engineer on the day and his communication skills throughout were excellent. When all the workmen had finished their tasks everything was tidied up. I would not hesitate to use this company again

We recently had a brand new combi boiler and nest fitted by Scott Findlay plumbing and heating engineers Ltd after a family recommendation. From start to finish the service that was provided was 1st class, every individual we encountered was punctual and efficient. Simon who came out to give us a quote was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough and provided us we many different options. The two engineers Kenny and Brian who relocated and installed the boiler and lastly Brian who commissioned and provided the finishing touches were very professional and had a wealth of knowledge that allowed a seamless and pleasant process.
With the current COVID 19 pandemic around I was a little nervous but everyone that entered our house were fantastic, they kept their distance, face mask were worn and followed government guidelines on keeping themselves and my family safe.
We are extremely satisfied with the service and experience provided and we would not hesitate to recommend and use Scott Findlay plumbing and heating engineers again for future needs.

A new gas boiler in my flat. Very easy company to deal with, and thre work was done quickly and cleanly. Happy to recommend them.

Needed a new boiler fitted and was recommended Scott Findlay by a friend. They gave a reasonable quote and had excellent communication throughout the process. The plumbers who fitted the boiler were tidy, friendly and observed all SD rules. There was an issue with our gas supply and they had a gas engineer and a manager on site within the hour to get it sorted. We are very happy with the service from Scott Findlay and would use them again.

After returning from my holidays i soon noticed that my boiler was not working. When i went to investigate further i spotted water leaking from the bottom of my boiler. Not good. I called up my boiler insurance company and the boiler was written off due to the cost of repair.

The insurance company offered to provide a quote for a replacement, but in the mean time i went to Scott Findlay's as i have used them many times in the past. Claire was so understanding of the situation and went out of her way to get someone here as fast as possible to check out the current system to quote for a new one (on the same day). When they were here to check the current set up, Simon (i think that was his name) also managed to show me how to fix my immersion heater (that seemed to blow on the same day). By the next morning i had the quote, and promise that they could start the work on the Monday (it was a Friday that i agreed on the quote)

As promised i was left with a working system by the end of the Monday with a return visit in the books to check everything was still working later on that week. Everything was complete and working before the Insurance company even managed to get me their quote for a replacement, which was £150 pounds more (for the exact same boiler) than Scott Findlay.

I can't rate these guys enough. We are in different times at the moment with this pandemic going on, but all of the guy who were in my house all understood and followed brilliant procedures. Kept there distance, isolated them self in the utility room with the door closed, wore gloved the whole time and just got on with the job. Thanks guys.

In 2020, Scott Findlay replaced my gas boiler when the old one failed. The service they provided was excellent in all respects: the initial estimating visit involved very thorough inspection and measurement (much more than other companies who visited) together with a clear and detailed explanation of what was involved; they were flexible and co-operative when I had to postpone the work owing to the COVID-19 crisis; they followed the Worcester-Bosch code of behaviour for their staff to take account of COVID-19 risks; all their staff communicated in a direct, informative and friendly manner, whether in person, on the phone or by email; the work was carried out on the arranged days within the predicted time; and the installed boiler worked correctly immediately. I would be happy to recommend Scott Findlay for central heating repairs or installations.

Scott Findlay have fitted a new Combi Gas boiler and upgraded several CH radiators & associated gas work.
From start to finish all aspects of communication and work were carried out by friendly staff and engineers to complete satisfaction in a very professional manner.
The standard of workmanship throughout was excellent. SF will be carrying out annual services and there is no hesitation in recommending them.

Scott Findlay replaced the existing boiler and water heating system with a new combiner's boiler. Their work was efficiently carried out with little disruption and no mess, leaving the property as though it had not been touched during a major re-plumbing job. Their engineers were courteous and worked well with the social distancing rules in place in the day, wiping down surface touched with disinfectant wipes at the end of each day. On completion of the job the operating instructions for the newly installed system with efficiently and concisely explained. I thoroughly recommend Scott Findlay's services.

Replaced all 5 radiators in the flat. The whole company are pleasant to deal with, from getting a quote, organising a time, the actual work, through to billing. The engineers took great care in my flat, leaving it clean and tidy, with a fully tested new system in place, exactly in the time the quote said, and for exactly the quoted cost. The whole team are friendly and reliable. I've used them before and will use them again.

Central heating system flush and magnet/filter

I was perfectly happy with Scott Findlay. They were prompt and courteous in fixing appointments to estimate/quote the job, and to carry it out. The work (system flush) was undertaken efficiently, and I am happy with the results. If only all trades could deliver in this exemplary way. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Recently, requiring the services of a combi boiler engineer, I contacted locally based, Scott Findlay Plumbing and Heating. From the initial call to the work undertaken, an excellent service was delivered.
Given a slot for a couple of days later; ( understandably, they are very busy), an immediate call back later that day offered an engineer, who was going off duty.
The problem turned out to be a simplistic setting error; however, routine safety checks were also undertaken.
The invoice reflected a significant reduction in the regular call out and service charge; an extremely decent gesture.
I would have no hesitation in reviewing this company on any media platform. I could not recommend them highly enough.
