I have been using Scott Findlay to service my boiler for a number of years and have always received efficient service. In February 2022 my boiler was damaged in the storms (roof blown off with the flue) and I required a replacement boiler quickly. The survey and quote was quickly arranged and having agreed to the quote, which was slightly cheaper than other quotes, the job was completed within a working day only 3 days later.

Have just had my 20 year old combi boiler replaced by David, one of the Scott Findlay team. I sourced a few quotes for a replacement boiler, and based on reviews decided on a Worcester Bosch. The quote from Scott Findlay was competitive and all pre installation dialogue was friendly and efficient. David arrived promptly on the installation date and was extremely friendly as well as being tidy and respectful whilst in my home. He covered carpets in dust sheets and used shoes protectors. I’m absolutely delighted with the quality of work and service and would not hesitate to recommend. I definitely feel our radiators are heating up faster and hotter and have been able to cancel my expensive and poor quality British Gas Homecare plan.

Had a new boiler installed and relocated and two new vertical radiators installed over 3 days. Claire in the office is a pleasure to deal with and makes it super easy to schedule your work, and provides great advice on products. The heating engineers, Albert, Cameron and Brian were a delight - the were so resourceful, respectful and a pleasure to have around. They even put up with my mad puppy who was bothering them for cuddles every time they entered a room. The radiators look amazing, and my house is nice and toasty with my fab new boiler, couldn’t recommend them more!

The work entailed the fitting of a combi boiler and associated alterations to existing pipe systems.

There was a quick response after contacting Scott Findlay for an assessment to be made on the various aspects of the proposed work.

Dave and Brian were responsible for the majority of the work on the installation. They arrived on time, were careful of our property and were pleasant and communicative. While working they took time to explain what they were doing and why. At the end of each working day everything was left clean and tidy with a special clean once the work was completed.

Allin all a highly professional job and I have no hesitation in recommending Scott Findlay to anyone needing this type of work, or plumbing, done.

We had a new boiler installed. The job was done to perfection from start to finish. The engineer (Simon) came on time and was very professional, knowledgable and polite. He worked extremely hard to get the work finished in one day to get heating and hot water up and running. They were also was very helpful in answering all our queries and helped us to set up 0% finance which was done within minutes. Overall, we couldn’t be more satisfied with the service we have received. Would use this company again and would highly recommend it!

Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating Ltd changed our boilers, fitted three new radiators and changed a couple of thermostats. Mark was here for two days, Simon one day and an electrician popped in to do some work too. The workmanship was absolutely first class. They were extremely tidy and treated our home and existing fittings / finishings with complete care and respect. The way they communicated with us, each other and colleagues who phoned them to discuss other jobs was really professional and demonstrated vast experience. It is a wonderful thing to see great tradespeople at work. Could not be happier with the job and have no hesitation recommending them.

Boiler broke down just as the weather got colder and I phoned Scott Findlay to ask if they could help and even although they were very busy they managed to put in a New boiler so that we could have hot water and heating quickly and they returned to finish work working around our other commitments .

Scott Findlay Ltd removed our old boiler and replaced it with a new Worcester Bosch boiler last week. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the engineer (Simon) who fitted the boiler, and other members of the company we dealt with to arrange the boiler replacement. From first contact with the company to the last (they checked to see how it was working after installation) their performance was flawless. We would highly recommend Scott Findlay Ltd to others.

I’ve been using Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating over the last couple of years to service my boiler, and recently had them install a new boiler after my old one was no longer fit for use. I can’t recommend them highly enough, the staff are very professional and knowledgeable.

Replaced an old Baxi back boiler with a new combi boiler. The job Scott Findlay done was excellent - no complaints at all. Communication was very good, the team were punctual, clean, and knowledgable. It was a complex job and we are very happy with the work that SF did.

Called out to a boiler issue, quoted for new boiler which was supplied and fitted within in 2 weeks. Minor issue with the new unit however they sorted it and were in constant communication as well. Highly recommended!

I recently got Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating Ltd to replace my old boiler. They were helpful from the start and happy to answer my queries about the work required and the quote. They also kept me up to date via email and text on all appointments. When the time came for job to be completed the engineer arrived on time, got through the work within the time specified and left everything tidy. He also put in extra effort when fitting in a replacement pipe to make sure that everything was neatly hidden away and explained how the new boiler controls worked. From start to finish - the initial enquiry, visit to assess faults, works needed, quote and finished job, Scott Findlay were efficient and professional. Johnny, the heating engineer, carried out the removal of old boiler and radiators, then the installation of the new boiler and five radiators, always tidying up before he left for the day. He was prompt, friendly, well organised and when the work was done, clearly explained how the new system worked and how to best use the controls to suit my individual needs. Over and above this, he sorted a leak at the back of my toilet; this was a particularly dirty and awkward job and I was most appreciative of him getting stuck in and fixing it!
