Our somewhat remote commercial premises required a substantial renovation project, luckily for us Sawmill Contracts were not fazed by this, in our case they truly went above and beyond, with a team of workers being asked to move to our facility and live onsite for the duration of the project.

Our works included a full range of trades and services, some of which included:-

Full Kitchen reconfiguration & install
Roof repairs and resurfacing
Install new fire doors
Repairs to external rendering
Upgrade and install electric appliances
replacement anti-slip flooring
refurbishment of shower areas and install new wet panelling
damp proofing

Michael carried out initial on-site visits and inspections, created various design options and layouts for the new kitchen install, and provided useful feedback and suggestions based on the works required.

The Sawmill Contracts team were excellent, worked around the clock to meet our schedules, carried out all areas of the project to an exceptional level with regular updates provided throughout the 3 week refurbishment. Any issues, as you would expect in any project, were brought to our attention promptly and offered solutions and updated costings for any additions or last minute changes as required.

All in all a fantastic business to work with. From start to finish, through planning stages, ordering and delivery of materials (to a difficult location), level of workmanship, right down to the clean and professional end result of the project, we cannot fault or recommend Sawmill Contracts Ltd enough.

We had a wall knocked through to make our kitchen bigger. Michael coordinated all the work and he and Ryan checked that everything was ship shape at the end of the day.

Sawmill built our loft conversion and were absolutely fabulous the whole way through the project. We had a few issues arise (what project doesn't??? and to clarify, the issues were not from Sawmill) but the guys did everything they could to help us out. They also went above and beyond for us, getting the space complete in such a short time frame, despite delays that were not any fault of their own. I would really recommend Sawmill.

I & my Fiancé bought our first home this year, and had a lot of renovation work to do. At a desperate time of need, Sawmill came to the rescue & within a day completed our kitchen & dining room’s plaster boarding job. After the team’s day of work, our kitchen was finally ready to be plastered!

We recently had a side extension, garage conversion and kitchen refurb done through Sawmill Contracts. Michael and the team were professional throughout and managed all trades required to complete the project, including offering design advice on various aspects and changes to the plan.

The initial project was delivered within the agreed timescales and all snagging issues, and a few plumbing issues were rectified quickly and efficiently.

We had a wall between the kitchen and living room removed, support beam added, new kitchen installed and a wet room installed in what was previously a store cupboard.
We are pleased with the finished works. The project took a little longer than expected. However, some of the delays were outside Sawmills control. Sawmill were happy to come back and fix/resolve a few snagging issues which was much appreciated.

I had my garage converted to create a new open living space into the kitchen. Out of all the quote we received from builders we felt most comfortable going with Sawmill Contracts. The communication was good throughout and after with any problems that arose, they dealt with promptly. I recommend sawmill contracts to anyone who asks us about our renovation

We had our bathroom renovated not just replaced. Sawmill sourced and put in a double shower wet room. They helped to source the products and then fitted it. When challenges arose they were quick to respond and resolve them. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the product. Love my new bathroom and would highly recommend Sawmill Contracts.

Sawmill Contracts was one of three builders recommended by the Federation of Master Tradesmen.

I was able to agree a clear contract with acceptable timescales and milestone payments - which were met. Paperwork was kept up to date and there was no difficulty in obtaining a Building Warrant.

Project management was good with consultation and recommendations along the way. Additional kitchen procurement/fitting and flooring were carried out at reasonable cost.
