John quoted at a very fair price and built us a large, bespoke, insulated and electrified summerhouse, including beautifully crafted, wooden fold down desks. We couldn’t be happier with the finished result. We are currently using it to work from home in and it works perfectly. We all love it and plan to make it into an extra relaxing space in the evenings. John took care of the whole process, explaining and discussing options with us as the job progressed. He is an easy-going, pleasant and interesting guy and the other tradespeople he brought in as required were similarly pleasant and easy to have around. The whole project went really well without any issues, within budget and on time. We would recommend Rosewood Joinery very highly and would use them without hesitation in the future. Fitted kitchen cupboard door had fractured off its frame. Not easily re-attached as the existing chipboard frame had been damaged and the existing screws were too short. John repaired the damaged frame with wood filler, reinforced the frame with timber (invisibly) and reattached the door with longer screws. Very happy with the result after our unsuccessful amateur attempts at repair.

This is the second time I have used John’s services.
This time he built me a bespoke Summerhouse. He gave me lots of good advice for the build. The end result is fantastic and it is better than I imagined it would be!

John built myself a bin store for me to store my three bins. Great quality product, sturdy and looks good also. John was very communicative with myself on what day he was coming and will defo use his services again, highly recommend to anyone needing any joinery work done.

John put up a new garden fence after ours was damaged in the storms. He got back to us very quickly when we asked for a quote. Started the work on the agreed date. We now have a very sturdy fence that looks great. Really chuffed with the work done, will definitely use again and more than happy to recommend.

John boxed in a hot water cylinder into a wall space. He did an excellent neat job, very fairly priced, reliable, turned up as promised and completed work on schedule. Would definitely recommend

I had 7 new doors hung, 4 of them fire doors.

Work was done very efficiently and to a high standard. This included switching the kitchen door to open the other way, and resolving an issue with locks purchased by myself and providing better replacements.

Would not hesitate to recommend and to contact again in the future.

Rosewood joinery did a fantastic job on my decking, pulling down the old stuff and rebuilding new raised decking and storage from scratch. From start to finish he worked really hard, did an excellent job and is a lovely guy too.
