A small room suddenly had a large amount of dead flys appearing over a few days a large pest control service quote £500. I called in Roof Fix Services, was given an appointment between 10 and 11am. They arrived at 10.30am and the gentlemen was there for 1 & half hours swept the chimney and removed 2 dead crows. We have a very light beige carpet and there was not a trace of any soot. I can recommend this company they did a very professional job and all for under £100. If only every trades man work to these standard the world would be a better place.

When he came back to fit the new one, he noticed several tiles missing that he is coming back to replace. I liked that he took photos of the work that he had done and the missing tiles. On this occasion, Roof Fix Services carried out repairs to overflowing guttering. They carried out an initial inspection and then returned a few days later to carry out the work. General roof repairs - replace broken tiles, pick / re-point all hip tiles, replaced timber and sealant on dormer windows. Also replacement of garage roof.
Patrick attended by appointment to assess and quote for the work to be carried out and was flexible in arranging times to complete the different jobs.
Work appears to have been completed to high standard at a fair price. Final price was the same as the quote.

Fabulous that you remind me that I need a roof check and Patrick always arrives on time and on the specified day. Area on the ground is clean from leaves/dirt from the gutters ie no mess has been left.
Also on the plus side is that if the quote is x amount for work that is to be done but on the day is unnecessary, then the invoice reflects less than x ie payment required will be less than the quoted amount.

The "urgent" job - the overflowing gutter was attended to within 24 hours of first contact. This trader provided a clear and detailed quotation promptly and came to do the work at the agreed time. Roof fix services were engaged to fit plastic dry verge units to a section of roof verge. Instead of fitting the verge units with the top face of the units flush with the tiles they fitted the units incorrectly leaving large gaps between the units and the tiles (see photo), totally compromising any weatherproofing. I personally have difficulty believing that they had any previous experience in doing this type of work and I had to have them come back to remove the units before I had them refitted correctly by another company.
My advice to anyone considering using this company for any particular work would be to get a reference from someone who has had them do that type of work before.

Patrick Murphy was a very approachable and helpful Trader.He spent time explaining what he proposed to do and why and answered all of my questions. When I requested further work he very quickly provided a quote and possible start dates. He turned up to the jobs on time and when he said he would. He worked hard on both jobs and took away all his waste from the site. I will definitely be using him again and neighbours have asked for his details.

Quick to respond to my call and gave a good estimate and carried out work professionally

Unfortunately at the time I attended the job the materials ordered did not fit correctly, I did however try to fit them as a temporary measure until I was able to order and fit the correct size of verge units. As there was a two-week delay in receiving the correct units I can understand the customers' frustration. Given the opportunity I would have returned and fitted the correct units at no extra cost to the customer and completed the job to my usual high standards.
In retrospect I should have communicated the issue more clearly to the customer and will ensure that this situation does not occur in the future.
I recognise that on this occasion I failed to meet the high standards of work that my customers expect.
