I am delighted by the first-class decorating job carried out by Willie and Mick of Recommended Decorators. They were both pleasant and professional and completed their work to a very high standard. I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.

Great job done in my hallway. Alan and his sons were very helpful and did a very professional job.

I threw in lots of questions and advice and recommendations were always provided. Also some additional jobs were requested like moving a wardrobe and table were thrown in for free!

Alan and Willie decorated the whole of our newly renovated flat; walls, ceilings, woodwork and external front wall. They also hung wallpaper in the dining room and master bedroom. They did an excellent job and the flat looks stunning. They were reliable, trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with. They followed up with snagging items quickly and effectively. They also communicated well and kept me up to date on their work schedule. Overall, excellent painters and decorators that I would recommend and use again.

Willie, Alan, Mick and Mattie between them did a fantastic job of stripping, lining and painting my two living rooms and hallway, including replacing some coving. From the initial enquiry to closing out the job they were very communicative and responsive. Had unique wall paper hung in two bedrooms and a feature wall done in the living room, using a special paint application. The work was done to a high standard and dealing with them was very easy.

We appointed Recommended Decorators to carry out extensive internal and external redecoration works and a range of surface repairs to the common areas of a historic tenement within Edinburgh's New Town. Throughout, Alan and his team were professional, supportive and patient. Alan visited the building to talk through our plans in order to offer us a quote, obtained or matched the colours that we requested and worked in an efficient, clean and friendly manner with his team. Recommended Decorators totally transformed our church hall from a typical 1930s look to a modern stylish interior. They were responsive to our budget restrictions. The job took almost two weeks, during which Alan and his team were efficient and helpful in getting the task done round our tight and difficult deadlines, sometimes making helpful suggestions and just taking on minor additional tasks as part of the job. I first met Alan and the team from Recommended Decorators when they carried out a very large job of repainting our shared stairwell from top to bottom. They were very good at working safely in a stair that had many people coming and going during the work.
