Quality Decor

I approached Rafal for a bit of advice concerning a ceiling problem in our lounge and our bathroom.
Rafal arrived the next day, explained the problems, and outlined possible actions. He then submitted a very reasonable estimate with an explanation of the work to be undertaken.
On accepting the quote, Rafal and another employee arrived to set up and prepare for the work. Absolutely everything was covered from dust caused by the ceiling repair works and on leaving the first day, the rooms were left spotless. Right on time to the minute the next day they arrived to complete the work and again everything was left tidy.
Rafal and his colleague were very polite, attentive to detail and very neat and careful workers. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Rafal and his company.
As a postscript Rafal was able to recommend his brother who is an electrician to install a couple of outside power points. Once again this was done on time, on budget and with a smile !

Our job entailed in the lounge, removal of existing ceiling wallpaper strips, sanding and replastering as needed, repapering and then painting the whole ceiling.
Bathroom, sanding, filling of ceiling plaster cracks, applying mesh, replastering and applying 3 coats of paint.

Rafal and his team did outstanding work. We were astonished at the level of attention paid to detail. They did a super job of stripping our bedroom walls (never a fun job in an Edinburgh tenament with latham plaster-based walls), prepping - including woodwork, lining and painting. I've never seen cutting-in so good. Since then we have had several other tradesfolk in (plumber, electrician and cabinet maker) who have all commented on the quality.

And the workers were all lovely, they were quiet and did a great job of tidying up too.

I have already recommended Rafal and Quality Decor to a number of friends, which I never do lightly.

Quality Decor painted the facias, soffits and external windows on our house. We couldn't have asked for better service. We felt in good hands with Rafal, who talked us through the work and offered some advice. The team showed up when they said they would (at 8am every morning) and were extremely hard-working and courteous. While another painter had said we'd need to get a joiner in to replace our cracked window sills, Quality Decor repaired them and have them looking like new. They also took care of a bit of rotten soffit for us. At the end of the job, Rafal went over things with a finetooth comb to make sure the work was up to standard (which it was). We're delighted with the work Quality Decor did for us and would not hestitate to contract them again.

Did some touchup and painting on the walls. Work was arranged promptly and finished reasonably quickly with minimal fuss. Clean and efficient. No complaints.

Quality Decor prepped and painted the fascia board on the front of my house and also painted the wall and windowsills, all of which were aged and quite grubby in parts. I was very impressed by Rafal (the boss) who came to view the job. He is very polite and easy to talk to. He explained what they would do and how long it might take, and sent an estimate quickly . I was kept fully informed as to the start date (weather dependant, obviously), and Rafal (the painter/decorator) turned up right on time to do the work. He also is very polite and easy to talk to. More importantly, he is a very hard worker and did a wonderful job. I am absolutely delighted with the result and will definitely ask them to do more work, and also recommend this firm to everyone.

Painting the full exterior of our house along with down pipes, facia boards and window sills. From the initial quote to completing the job Rafal and his team were very good. Wall preparation and painting of entire flat. Rafal was a pleasure to work with. Asks lots of questions before providing a quote and makes sure everything is clear. Quality Decor decorated our hallway, stairs and landing/ceiling. The job involved a lot of preparation as the walls were in a poor state and Rafal and his team did an excellent job to thoroughly prepare these - stripping paper, skimming the walls, applying mesh where required etc ahead of decorating. The team were very polite and understanding of the need to work around us and did and excellent job of tidying and cleaning up at the end. We are very happy with the end result and I have no hesitation in recommending Quality Decor for sure.
