Returned home after New Year to find damp patches in my kitchen. Contacted Portobello Roofing following a friends recommendation. They came out to inspect and quote within 2 days of my phone call and then carried out repair one week later. Photos were taken and they also identified some work that will be required in the future. Friendly, reliable and professional, will definitely use again,

Had an intermittent leak in living room ceiling which our usual roofer could not find the source of. He eventually said to get a second opinion. Portobello Roofing came out, pinpointed what they thought was the issue - blocked channels around a dormer, resolved it and then said they would wait 2 weeks before issuing the invoice, to ensure problem was resolved. This was about 4 weeks ago when we were having a lot of heavy rain. We've had no further issues and I'm very impressed with the service and problem solving.

Portobello Roofing Ltd were great from start to finish. We had a leak in our roof over the New Year period and the team were quick to get out to see what damage was done. Price was good and we have had no issues since the repair. Would use again for sure.

We contacted James from Portobello Roofing because one of the storms had caused the lead flashing on our roof ridge to peel away. It wasn't an emergency, but we wanted it sorted before it got any worse. That was on a Saturday afternoon. James came round on the following Monday and had it fixed within half an hour. They repaired the lead and also put in some sealant to ensure it is weathertight and secure. They did a great job, very promptly and with no fuss. the cost was very reasonable and we are very please all round.

James & co, did an excellent job cleaning out our well needed clogged up guttering.
We had originally asked him for a quote for removing moss off the roof! He was honest enough to tell us it didn’t actually need done and explained reasons. I respect honesty and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them for future work and have no qualm in recommending them.

Large flat garage roof completely replaced; all timber support structures with rubber sheet roofing. Work ethic and quality was generally excellent using quality materials even for the more mundane consumable items (e.g. stainless steel screws/nails where appropriate). Tidied up well on completion of works even though old roof covering was unpleasantly sodden and very messy during removal. To be highly recommended for such works.

They arrived few hours after I called them. Althought full repair wasn't possible they fixed it temporarily and gave us advise what to do next. Also they surveyed our roof and spent almost an hour giving us possible options to solve existing problem. Very friendly and knowledgeable guys. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with roof problems.

James and his team re -roofed or house in slate. The house is about 150 years old . I found James to be very open and honest about all of the options and costings relating to the roof and chimneys. We are delighted with the standard of the workmanship.
Portobello roofing clearly take pride in their work and they restored some of the original, decorative woodwork, before painting it.

This was a more thorough job than we had previously. We would use this firm again as they did what they said they'd do and explained what they were doing. This was a job we'd had done more recently by another firm.
