I have used Portobello Roofing at various times during the past decade. My roof is nearly a century old so occasionally is in need of repair. Portobello Roofing is the company that manages to locate and fix leaks that other roofing companies give up on. These days, after bad experiences with other Edinburgh roofing businesses, Portobello Roofing is the only roofing company I would use. James always get back to me quickly, locates the problem and usually does the work within a couple of days. His team are always pleasant and polite.

We've used Portobello Roofing twice now. The first time, it was after we'd had some work done, and the roofers left a hole that was leaking and refused to fix it. James and his team responded the same day, fixed all the slates, and even came back two more times to find the hole.

We then called them again, when we had another leak, they came the same day, got us in that week, and the hole was fixed.

We have used Portobello Roofing many times over the past 15 years. Last week we had a leak in the roof after a rainstorm with water coming through onto the bedroom ceiling. Within just a few hours of my phone call, James and his team came round, identified the problem (missing and slipped tiles) and fixed it there and then. Fantastic service and as friendly as ever!

Repaired my roof. Such a relief to find someone who knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. Not expensive either.

Returned home after New Year to find damp patches in my kitchen. Contacted Portobello Roofing following a friends recommendation. They came out to inspect and quote within 2 days of my phone call and then carried out repair one week later. Photos were taken and they also identified some work that will be required in the future. Had an intermittent leak in living room ceiling which our usual roofer could not find the source of. He eventually said to get a second opinion. Portobello Roofing came out, pinpointed what they thought was the issue - blocked channels around a dormer, resolved it and then said they would wait 2 weeks before issuing the invoice, to ensure problem was resolved. This was about 4 weeks ago when we were having a lot of heavy rain. We've had no further issues and I'm very impressed with the service and problem solving.
