Platinum Works have been employed as the main contractor for two residential build projects I have been involved with, one a large attic conversion and the second a terraced house extension. In both cases, the standard of work was high, they worked diligently through each project with a very good customer focus.

I bought my new house 2yrs ago. It was a bungalow and I applied for planning permission to convert it and open it up and put 2bedrooms and a shower room upstairs. It was a big undertaking but Rhys and the boys set to and took everything out of the house. Put a new steel support in and gave me a beautiful living space My downstairs living area was completely opened up by removing the small windows and replacing them in the kitchen and lounge by bi-fold doors. They opened up the house and as my house is near the beach this gives me super views of the beach and and the North Sea. But in the bad storms last year , my house was the only one in the row of 6 to remain dry and sand free ! The insulation installed means my under floor heating is enough to heat the whole house. I cannot recommend Rhys and the boys highly enough They worked quickly , thoroughly and efficiently. My husband was a successful developer for many years and it would be easy for me to see any faults So far I have not needed to have the boys back for any “snagging “ but Rhys has kept in touch and asks if there is anything needing attention. The boys go the extra mile. Thank you

Full house renovation including attic conversion. Rhys was fantastic start to finish, he not only project managed all trades required to renovate my three story town house, he was a strong voice to the architect and engineer; lowering costs in things such as steel and insulation etc. He was a valuable asset throughout the job helping with the build, layout, design. Helping to source materials if I couldn’t find them. Having done work on a few houses now, Rhys & Platinum Works Joinery have stood out the most.

We used Platinum Works for an attic conversion to our bungalow. The conversion was substantial and added 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms.

Rhys was good to work with and would always respond to any of our questions regards the build. He was quick to get in touch to discuss any problems. There were some issues fairly typical during building work and these were resolved to our satisfaction.

I would use Platinum Works for any future building work and would also recommend them to others.

Rhys arranged and coordinated all aspects from groundwork right through building to glazing and roofing. He was always on hand to answer any questions. The only thing we arranged was the decoration as we have a regular decorator.
