This job required downpipe repair and restoration. Even with the difficult weather conditions we were able to complete the works on time and in a safe and professional manor.

Our latest Edinburgh project saw us painting a total of 8 downpipes and 6 flues on a Georgian building in Edinburgh's New Town. We also repaired a number of holes that we found whilst prepping the pipes.
We had previously carried out property maintenance here, restoring a number of the windows to various flats and the communal stair to this building last year, so it was a privilege to be asked to carry out the remainder of the external works.
With no access to the rear of this property rope access was the only means by which this work could be done.

Myself and a neighbour had some issues with water ingress in our tenement flats which we soon realised were caused by blocked guttering and slipped roof slates on our shared roof. Matt and his team were fantastic throughout, from being very transparent in showing us photos of what needed doing on our roof, to responding to emails quickly. The job itself was conducted very neatly, all debris was removed from site and there was no disruption to neighbours. We are really pleased with their work and are very happy to have a trusted team we can rely on for future roofing and guttering jobs.

Matt and his team were commissioned to help fix water ingress at the upper rear of a three story property near Haymarket. Access to the rear of the building is not easy and the rope access team were able to access and repair the roof and downpipes using their skill set. From the inspection to the completion of the work the team were highly professional. The work was completed on the day scheduled and within the quoted price. The team went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating assisting a neighbouring property at the same time. I would highly recommend New Town Rope Access and would use them in the future.

Matt and his team repaired the roof on our new town property. The guys were first class in every department. Reliable from start to finish, turned up as arranged, got stuck into the job and completed everything on time.

I live in a tenement flat and we needed (shared) repairs to the downpipes and roof. Among the flat owners, we decided to do all the downpipe repairs and the first phase of the roof repairs (with the non-urgent items to be done at some subsequent date).
Matt arrived exactly on time and promptly produced his quotes, accompanied by detailed photographs. His quotes included all downpipe work and all urgent roof work - exactly meeting our specification. His price was very competitive, compared to all other firms that we contacted. We asked to change various items and Matt readily amended his quotes as requested.
The NTRA rope access team turned up exactly as scheduled and completed all the specified work in good time. Matt produced "before and after" photographs showing all the completed work on the roof and downpipes. We asked for some minor changes (eg. cable positions) and Matt arranged for these changes to be made quickly and at no extra cost.
Overall, the service from NTRA was excellent and the work was great value.

From initial quote to completion, New Town Rope Access were easy to deal with and provided good value for money.
Contractors on site were great, kept me up to date with the work they were doing and took detailed photos of any issues.

I had an old flue hole filled in, the kitchen waste pipe removed and a new pipe run installed outside my third storey tenement flat. The team completely the work very quickly and to a great standard, and were a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend and use again for this kind of work.

Pleasure to deal with. Efficient, organised, willing to look into variety of problems and knowledgeable about what they are doing . Rope access is a fantastic way to avoid the cost of cherry picker / scaffold for high up jobs in difficult to access roof areas.

New Town Rope Access were absolutely brilliant! They repaired our downpipe on our tenement, cleared out the gutters and did general maintenance on the downpipes too. They were so efficient, professional, friendly and extremely reasonably priced too. Their email and phone communication was also very good. I would highly recommended Matt and his team for any work you might need doing on your building.

NTRA were quick to respond my enquiry and provided a comprehensive quote which detailed different potential costs for work that may be needed upon closer inspection (we had leaking gutters which showed after the first heavy rain of winter).
They arrived on time and followed all current government guidance minimising contact with ourselves. Upon inspecting our gutters, it turned out the amount of work to do was less than initially thought. They carried it out efficiently and the invoiced cost ended up being less than the original quote.

The quality of the work is great. Matt and the team were friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to ensure everything done as I wanted.
The communication from start to finish was great and they turned up when they said they would. They repaired and painted some dormer windows but without being asked repaired some leaks on roof and cleaned gutters. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Just had a job completed by New Town Rope Access on the damaged gutters at my tenement building in Leith, the guys did a great job, left the place tidy, saved us a fortune as we didn’t require expensive scaffolding and all the disruption that that involves, having been messed about with various contractors who failed to show up, pleased to find Matt was very helpful and business like from start to finish.

Matt is an excellent communicator both before and during the work. He turns up when he says, on time and keeps you up to date with progess and photos throughout the job.
My next door neighbour had roof repairs at the same time as me. Matt and his team completed the roof work in a day and were cleared up and gone. My neighbours scaffolding remained in place for 2 weeks after their repairs. Rope access is definitely the way to go.

We used NTRA to access, assess and quote for a guttering fix that needed sorted for a common stair in Marchmont. The service was prompt and professional, and fixed the problem for a fraction of the price of getting scaffolding or a cherry picker. Would have no problem in recommending, thanks!
