Edinburgh down pipe restoration, repair and paintingEdinburgh based New Town Rope Access is a rope access company primarily focused on building maintenance in domestic properties with limited access, where traditional solutions such as scaffolding are not practical or cost efficient.
This job required downpipe repair and restoration. Even with the difficult weather conditions we were able to complete the works on time and in a safe and professional manor.

Our latest Edinburgh project saw us painting a total of 8 downpipes and 6 flues on a Georgian building in Edinburgh's New Town. We also repaired a number of holes that we found whilst prepping the pipes.
We had previously carried out property maintenance here, restoring a number of the windows to various flats and the communal stair to this building last year, so it was a privilege to be asked to carry out the remainder of the external works.
With no access to the rear of this property rope access was the only means by which this work could be done.

We used NTRA to repair and repaint the rear guttering and downpipes for a converted townhouse in the West End that has been divided into 3 flats. We are very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the professionalism of the team when they were on site. A pleasure to work with.

Myself and a neighbour had some issues with water ingress in our tenement flats which we soon realised were caused by blocked guttering and slipped roof slates on our shared roof. Matt and his team were fantastic throughout, from being very transparent in showing us photos of what needed doing on our roof, to responding to emails quickly. The job itself was conducted very neatly, all debris was removed from site and there was no disruption to neighbours. We are really pleased with their work and are very happy to have a trusted team we can rely on for future roofing and guttering jobs.

Matt and his team were commissioned to help fix water ingress at the upper rear of a three story property near Haymarket. Access to the rear of the building is not easy and the rope access team were able to access and repair the roof and downpipes using their skill set. From the inspection to the completion of the work the team were highly professional. The work was completed on the day scheduled and within the quoted price. The team went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating assisting a neighbouring property at the same time. I would highly recommend New Town Rope Access and would use them in the future.

Bruce and Steevie were absolute stars - Pipe at the back of the building was repaired with minimal disruption. Place was cleaned after the work was completed which is always appreciated. Considering the very competitive price, I can only recommend them.

Matt and his team have inspected and maintained our roof for a couple of years now. We have recently asked them to inspect the rear of the tenement building and advise on necessary repairs. This was done quickly and efficiently.

I had a guttering problem in a very hard to access area, four other roofing companies came out and refused the work before I finally found Matt and he stepped up to the challenge. Communication was great all along, the team who came to the house were friendly and professional and did a brilliant job. I will definitely use New Town Rope Access again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them
