I asked for advice about whether I needed repair work done on cracked roughcast on the front and back of my house. They called me to arrange a visit quickly, came when they said they would, arrived with proof of who they were, and after assessing the cracks I was concerned about they actually advised me that I didn't need major work done and gave me advice on how to do the minimal repair work needed myself. Incredibly helpful and very professional, if I need any further work on the roof or building I'd definitely be contacting them again.

After contacting many Edinburgh roofing companies and failing to get any to come and repair my roof, I was delighted when Jackie Mitchell from Mitchell Roofing arrived on time and in person and gave me a quote. We have a damp wall, probably caused by a slipped roof tile. Jackie came out to look at it within just a couple of days of calling him, fixed the roof tile there and then, suggested another possible cause for the damp and dealt with it, advised on the general state of our roof and didn't even take any money as he said it had only taken him minutes. Having used this company before we had no hesitation in getting them to do our replacement Roofline work. This entailed new Fascias, Soffits, Barge boards, Gutters, Ridge Tiles and Slates. A big job skilfully done. Boys arrived 8.00am daily, spotless in MITCHELL ROOFING overalls. They work as a team and were friendly, polite and approachable.
Before leaving each day, our property was swept and all debris removed. We are as always, delighted with the finished job which has enhanced our property.

I had a problem with a leak after a recent heavy downpour. I phoned Mitchell Roofing and Mr Mitchell himself promised to come round the next day to inspect the roof which he duly did.

He quickly ascertained that some of the slates had moved slightly out of alignment after very strong winds. He fixed the problem and replaced a broken slate on another part of the roof at the same time.

I could not have asked for a more friendly, helpful and professional approach.
