Mark Smith Glazing Limited

After being let down by some other glazing companies I approached Mark to get a quote for secondary glazing. I spoke with the very friendly office manager who arranged an appointment that week. Mark came out to measure up - he was prompt, polite and professional and I had the quote emailed to me in the time he promised. The work was carried out to a very high standard, by two professional installers and I will be using their services again for additional secondary glazing work. Highly recommended.

We have recently purchased replacement windows and doors from Mark Smith Glazing and couldn’t be happier with the quality of the product. Our house has been transformed and the anthracite grey, rather than white, is an absolutely stunning look and finish. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company to anyone else.

We had two panes of glass replaced after a break-in. Mark Smith staff were really helpful with advice on types of glass. Work was completed promptly and efficiently. Staff were friendly, polite and respectful.

Highly recommended. No hard-sell just a measurement and a very reasonable quote. They were more than happy to keep the price low by not replacing window surrounds (unlike some companies who quoted us). Did the job quickly in the day they said they would, cleaned up afterwards, the new windows are great! Will use again to upgrade the downstairs windows once we've saved a little more.

Had 5 uPVC windows installed after my original wooden framed ones were rotting away. Had already had issues from another glazing company fitting 2 other windows a few years ago so was wary and did a lot of research before contacting Mark Smith glazing to fit the rest. I couldn't find any negative reviews and I can see why.
They were very prompt to come and do all the measuring up and the guys fitting the windows did a cracking job.
I'll definitely be getting in touch soon to get a new front door fitted once I've saved up again!

Three replacement windows, previously a front door installed. Have nothing but praise. Very helpful, work done on time to a high standard.

Had received previous quote for replacement windows - salesperson stayed for 3 hours. Marks team were in house for max 30 mins, they surveyed, took measurements and emailed quote next day, No hard sell. Speed of installation was super quick. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

I needed new DG window hinges fitted at short notice. After sending an email explaining the position Mark called me, advised on the requirements and the cost. He arranged for a workman to call within 48 hours who completed the job to my full satisfaction.
This is the second occasion in 6 months I've used Mark Smith glazing and for any future glazing needs it will without doubt be my first port of call.

Have had new front and back doors fitted plus 2 Windows and one which is due to be done.

I have been very happy with the quality of the work done. Good contact, by e-mail and phone. Fitters were professional, knew what they were doing, answered all of my questions and cleaned up everything before they left.

All staff on phone and in the office in Portobello are friendly and informative.
Prices are good (for the same work I was quoted c£1500 more from a Morningside Firm)
