Mark has done an excellent job fitting my kitchen. He's clearly very proficient in his trader and would recommend him highly for any joinery work.

Mark saved me from a booking nightmare when the joiners whom I had scheduled to install a kitchen with a major company cancelled a few days prior. Professional, attentive, knowledgeable, calm, and friendly from our first phone call, Mark came in, connected me with trusted tradesman for additional works, and stayed the course even when issues with Scottish Water etc conspired to cause delays. His work and expertise are top notch and he won't disappear after it's done. I have booked him for additional works and would recommend to all.

We can't praise Mark's work and work ethic strongly enough. Our project was the construction of an extension onto a lower villa. It was a project with a lot of complicating factors, but Mark was able to find solutions for all of the foreseen and unforeseen difficulties which came up. The final workmanship was of a very high standard, including the laying of a parquet floor and installation of a new kitchen.

As well, we would certainly agree with the statements that others have made on this page about Mark's work, and the many five-star ratings. We would be happy to recommend him to anyone looking for someone to build an extension project.

I had a standalone extension built and, thanks to Mark and his team, everything went as smoothly as it possibly could. Mark kept me informed every day about what he was going to do that day and how it was to be done. He kept me up to date with every procedure which made everything considerably less stressful. His work is of a very high standard and I count myself very lucky that I employed him to do the work for me. I would recommend him to anyone.

Mark recently undertook a full renovation of our Victorian terraced house.

He is very hard-working. We felt like we were able to trust him and he gave us sensible advice throughout the job.

During the project he was always very easy to get in contact with him and he was excellent at keeping us up to date on project progress and any issues which cropped up.

Mark’s joinery work was of a high standard, making an irregular shaped window, a very large external door, cupboards and a mezzanine bed and ladder.

We were also very impressed with the great team Mark had around him. They all made valuable suggestions throughout the works, which we valued and they worked very hard to keep our project on track.

We contacted Mark to help us with a few jobs around the house.

Firstly, we had cupboards re-fitted with doors to match - all very well built and we were very happy with the final result.

Mark also helped us fit a kitchen. It was a tough job as we live in a cottage with many snagging issues which Mark managed to overcome and execute to a very high standard.

Lastly, Mark helped fit a wooden floor along with fitting skirtings. The floor looks great!

Mark built an extension for us between April and August 2018. He started and finished early, was onsite every day and worked really well with our architect and engineer. He worked like a trooper - often single handed, and his workmanship was excellent. He kept us fully informed throughout and he was a real pleasure to work with. He finished below cost and having completed the job, he has kept in touch just to be sure we're happy with the work. I can't fault him and cannot recommend him highly enough.

We used MG Joinery and Developments LTD to carry out fairly extensive building work (an extension plus renovations within part of the ground floor of the existing house). Mark has done a fabulous job! He was a perfectionist, often noticing possible problems before we had - the work was done to a high standard. He was very reliable, worked hard and got the job finished on time. The cost was reasonable and there were no hidden extras. In the year since the work was finished we have had no problems at all. We love our new sunroom, kitchen/dining room, utility room and boiler room, and would highly recommend MG Joinery and Developments LTD.

MG Joinery (Mark) completed a large extension to our house in June 2016. He and his team had a very difficult job organising and completing the ground works on our job because of the location of the house. However he and his team arrived at 8am every day and sorted out all of the problems with the minimum of fuss/inconvenience.
They completed the job on time and just under budget with very few snagging issues. The extension is perfect and the guys were lovely and a pleasure to have around!
