Kitchen cabinet lights replaced with LEDs. Consistent good communication and time keeping, friendly and efficient service, and I'm very happy with the work, and would use Lumen again myself as well as recommend them.

Lumen installed some new electric heaters for me last year, and I was very happy with their work then. So when I had a small list of electrical problems to deal with as 2020 arrived, it felt like a no brainer to ask them to come and sort said problems.

Once again, they've fixed the problems promptly and efficiently. Craig arrived as expected and set about fixing my electrical sockets, wiring in some new ceiling lampshades, fixing the bathroom ceiling light, and doing a few other small fixes. He was friendly and tidy, and dealt with all the issues on the list perfectly.

Andrew was, as always, quick and polite in responding to emails to arrange the visit.

I always feel confident that Lumen will be there for me with electric problems, be they emergencies or not.

Andrew has done a number of projects for me. He’s always there when he says he will be, he always gets the job done, his work is first rate, and I trust and value his advice. Not the cheapest in town - but great value for money as he’s efficient and high quality. (And when it comes to electrical stuff we don’t want the cheapest Tom, Dick, or Harry messing around anyway). We would unreservedly recommend Andrew of Lumen, who has assisted with jobs requiring sensitivity to a listed house and adaptability to demands such as our requiring light in a suddenly pitch dark kitchen before a family visit . With calm professionalism and quick aptitude and intelligence , he carries out his work concientiously, knowledgeably and very tidily indeed . He is a person who does his work with address and capability , unphased and always personable . I seldom say this but I recommend him without reservation for jobs from the most -apparently- small to the most considerable . Lumen Electrical have helped replace a couple of faulty lights within the tenement stair where we live.

I have used Lumen Electrical, on several occasions and first used them when the responsibility for stair lighting became the responsibility of the individual stair. I found them on the Edinburgh Trusted Trader site and have never had any problems. The service is excellent and impressive. I've emailed with a request for work and its done within 24-36 hours. Now that's what I call good service with good value too.

Great service. Everything can be done online - always a fast response to my email communications, which I prefer rather than having to phone - and a detailed invoice is sent which I’m able to pay electronically. Have used Lumen twice already.
