Excellent re-wire provided by Lumen electrical. Andrew went out of his way to complete a rather difficult job in an old stone building. I've used electricians before who done jobs as 'homers' and have been disappointed by their workmanship. I'd highly recommend this company if you require a job done properly and safely to a high standard, at a very reasonable rate.

Andrew arranged to come promptly following a cancellation. He replaced an old fuse box & test the wiring. Left the site clean & tidy. Very pleased with the service & professionalism. Wouldn't hesitate to contact again.

Andrew, did a number of different jobs of varying cost but the quality of his work was high on all. He turned up on time and was tidy and organised through all the jobs. I have recommended him to friends and family. I will also continue to use him for any other electrical jobs required.

Friends and I have used Andrew before for small jobs around the house and found him to be reliable and honest. However, I was disappointed by his recent and significant price rise (bu hourly rate) and then by his quote of near £200 pounds for a very little job (he reckoned it could take over three hours). I subsequently got another trusted trader to undertake this for £35 - like for like - what was, in the end, a ten minute job. Sadly, it looks like this company is dragging time out to justify an hourly rate rather than doing the fair thing of pro-rating.

I had Andrew round to do a handful of small electrical jobs and to complete an electrical installation condition report. Andrew was polite and professional when conducting the work and spot on with his timekeeping. He was good enough to answer all my questions regarding the work undertaken. The job was finished to a high standard and I have already recommended him to a friend for electrical works to their flat.

Andrew (Lumen Electrical) phoned beforehand to say when he would be arriving and was exactly on time (amazing when you consider the traffic in Edinburgh some days)

I phoned Andrew and left a voice message, then also wrote an email with more details about the job. He returned my call and answered my mail within a couple of hours, and I was pleased that he could do the job the next day.

While initially asking for a quote for works, Andrew was able to complete the jobs, including purchasing some additional equipment, within a reasonable timescale. Just got on with it and explained what he was doing and why and then organised how things worked.

Andrew from Lumen did an initial inspection of the electrics at our new flat then returned to upgrade everything to the latest standard. Andrew was very thorough and all the work was completed to a high standard, on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Lumen for any electrical work and will certainly use them again.

Andrew was able to come and fit some lights for me at quite short notice. It should be noted that whilst people were enjoying their bank holiday, Andrew was working. He was punctual, polite and very professional. Have recommended him to others and be in touch with him in the future.
