Andrew responded very quickly to my initial query and communicated regularly in the lead up to carrying out the work. He worked efficiently and tidied up all areas once the jobs were completed. I would definitely use Andrew again and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Lumen have carried out several key jobs around the house, ranging from installations to urgent repairs. Andrew has put in new overhead lights, installed an intercom, a new thermostat, lighting systems in both bedrooms and bedroom wardrobes, and on the latest occasion, painstakingly detected and replaced a tricky failed fuse in a range cooker.
He offers expertise combined with method and efficiency and, in addition, a flair for determined problem solving whenever a solution isn't straightforward. Throw in the cheerful dependability shown on every visit, and that's why my recommendation is unhesitating!

Lumen carried out a number of jobs for us including removing and installing light fittings and mains sockets. They were very professional, personable and completed the work promptly.

Although it was just a small job to replace a wall switch, Andrew responded quickly to the initial enquiry and managed to schedule the work at a time that suited us. He was very polite and professional and carried out the work quickly and to a very high standard.

Developing an electrical issue during the COVID-19 Lockdown adds a new set of concerns to the problem, but Lumen Electrical dealt with all of these quickly and professionally. After calling in the morning, Andrew was able to arrange to come out on the afternoon of the same day, and he fixed the problems with our shower in 45 minutes. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and he worked quickly and professionally to a high standard, taking the time to ensure that he left no mess when he was finished. He remained masked and gloved throughout the repair, and practised safe distancing the entire time he was in our home.

Professional from start to finish!

We contacted Lumen Electrical Services after having been let down by another electrican. Andrew provided us with a detailed estimate and was able to attend to the job quickly. The job turned out to be more complicated than originally thought, but Andrew explained each step and proposed workable alternatives when the original plan wasn’t going to work. Extremely high level of workman ship on the entirety of the job and Andrew and Craig were meticulous in tidying up after completing the job.

Lumen installed our Nest Hello doorbell for us after we had had the work turned down by other electricians.

They were friendly and helpful, arrived on time, the installation was very good and everything tidied up afterwards. They were also able to give assistance with adding the WiFi doorbell onto our home network.

I had a broken light fitting. Andrew replied very quickly and came when he said he would, which was great. He managed to come around my complicated work hours which was really appreciated! I would highly recommend, no mess left and very efficient.
