For a problem with the lock on the door into the stairwell of a block of flats, Mark turned up at the appointment time, identified the work required and quoted the total cost. The following day he sourced the new part required and returned to make the repair as arranged. He then issued a proper invoice. Completely professional service from start to finish at a very reasonable price.

Mark was professional, efficient, tidy, friendly and competitively priced. His original quote was based on photos I'd emailed him, but when he arrived and considered the situation he suggested we didn't need as much work done as he'd originally quoted for. We'll definitely use his services again in the future.

Replaced the lock on the communal front door of our tenement building and provided new keys for all the flats. Very happy with the service provided - turned up on time with keys ready cut to distribute to the neighbours. Very reasonable price. Would use again. Recommended.

Thank you so much Mark for coming to my aid so quickly when my front door key got stuck in the lock. You advised me over the phone that it was most likely a worn cylinder, quoted a price for labour and the replacement cylinder which included 3 keys. You arrived in 30 mins by re-prioritising your jobs because I couldn't leave the house! I'd have never found you if it wasn't for Trusted Trader. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to my family and friends. I'd had a rubbish week of things going wrong and you restored my faith in great service again - thank you so much :-)

The tumblers had gotten stuck on a small document safe I use occasionally. I sent an email to get a quote, and the response was very quick and helpful. I brought the safe into the Dundas street location without an appointment and the staff helped me right away. The safe was open again in less than five minutes. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly throughout.

We were unable to open our kitchen door as the handle had broken. Mark visited within an hour, and managed to gain access. After checking other doors, he arranged to return a few days later and replace 3 which were faulty.
We were very impressed with Mark's service and professionalism, and now have his number programmed into our phones in case of future problems. Highly recommended.

Mark was great. We had keys stolen on holiday and we arranged him to arrive when we did from abroad. This worked even despite flight delays.Mark got us in in seconds and for the best price of all we contacted to boot. Sterling effort.He even kept the lock intact so we could still use it again.

Mark replaced the electric strike keeper on our communal door. He did a brilliant job at a very reasonable price. He is extremely professional, courteous, and reliable. Having employed several people in this trade over the years. It is crowded market place where standards can vary greatly. I would not hesitate in recommending LockStar at the higher echelon of Locksmiths.
