Lee and Murray arrived with an incredible can-do attitude to deal with a complicated problem that no one wanted to tackle. The quote was straightforward and fair and communication was brilliant throughout. The work itself was done perfectly with attention to detail and to mess. To top it all off they were both just so patient with my wierd/exhausted anxiety around the whole project. I could not recommend L&M Complete Fireplace Solutions more highly and look forward to working with them again.

Lee and Murray fitted a wood burning stove for us. The job was done neatly and Lee was always keeping updated with timings and was easy to get a hold of. We needed some extra work done once we started to open up the existing fireplace, which was not a problem for Lee and he managed to still get the job finished in the planned timescale. We plan to use him again for any other stove installations or servicing.

Richard of L& M Complete Fireplace Solutions swept my chimney today. He was prompt, courteous, efficient, careful and with good advice. When he finished, the area around my fireplace was left spotless. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this firm again. The cost of the work is fair.

Installed original log burner and carry out annual service. On this occasion Lee replaced chimney cowel which had been dislodged by seagulls and removed nesting material which had party blocked flue and impaired efficiency of fire.

Lee serviced two wood burning stoves for me. I found him to be prompt, professional and polite. All the work was carried out to a high standard and the premises left in a clean and tidy condition. I will be asking him to service the stoves on an annual basis.

We have used Lee to install one stove in our Edinburgh flat and then, when we moved to the Borders, Lee and his team have done full restoration and installation of four different fireplaces, three of which required installation of a new mantlepiece, and two of which required new hearths. He has also installed two chimney pots and services and repairs the stoves as needed.

Lee and his team are reliable, knowledgeable and responsible. Lee keeps us up to date throughout the whole project, and lets us know if there are any unexpected problems. We have been working with Lee for years and look forward to continuing to do so long into the future.
