We had an EICR, which failed and thus remedial work to replace fuse box, lights, extractor fans amongst other work. They were excellent at fitting us in within the tight timescales we were working to, kept me updated with options & ensured I was aware of all works going on. Particularly appreciated having the same electrician visit all 3 times to give continuity & therefore expedite the process as much as possible. All staff were incredibly professional and personable. Would recommend & will use again!

We had an electrical fault in our home, and we had a number of electricians unsuccessfully attempt to address the fault. Keith Gunn Electrical Solutions were able to find the cause and make the necessary repairs, restoring our electricity. We were highly impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. They kept us informed about every stage of their investigation into the problem, and they made a special effort to complete the work in the days before Christmas.

New board and re-wiring. Very professional from initial approach to installation certificate. Punctual, easy communications, patient when answering queries, and good clean up and left tidy.

I moved into a flat with a ventilation unit/setup which was estimated by another company as costing £2,000.00 to repair/replace. This just wasn’t realistic for my budget and no other company in Edinburgh provided a quote or any solutions whatsoever due to the unique setup in the flat. Some companies cheekily offered a call out fee charge just to see the project, even though they front-loaded the conversation telling me they had no solutions in mind.

After speaking with a great staff member, Scott Virtue, and telling him about my headaches, we came to the ideal solution: replacing the unit system with an inline fan which would give me what I needed at a fraction of the price.

Thereafter, the company were very accommodating with last minute changes in my availability, and even more so when I managed to do some of the work prior to their attendance, whereby the quote was quickly altered to reflect what was needed/carried out.

Electrician carried out the work on time and within an hour - finally putting my ventilation dramas to bed.

Couldn’t be more thankful for the staff finding me solutions to what was 3 months of being turned away for one reason or another by other companies. Would recommend 100% and will contact them again for future projects!

The men who came to do the work had to come a number of times before the issue was finally resolved but were determined to sort the fault. We now have a functioning bell which looks and sounds great. All of the electricians who came to our house were delightful and extremely helpful - not showing any signs of frustration. I would definitely recommend them.

I simply cannot fault the service received from Keith Gunn Electricians. I have never experienced such helpful and knowledgeable personnel. Engineer who came to do 2 jobs, including repairing a fan, said it didn't need doing. When we noticed fan still not working, Keith Gunn tried to charge a second call out fee to come and do job original engineer was employed to do. We weren't happy. Keith Gunn would not budge on second call out fee so we ended up getting another electrician in to do the job which was done very efficiently ( and for half price Keith Gunn wanted). Extra item was charged for in invoice though this was corrected when this pointed out. I recognise the many good reviews here but would suggest people get other quotes, check invoices very carefully and prepare to go elsewhere when faults are not corrected.

The work carried out was done exactly as required, to a high standard & efficiently. It was done very soon after enquiry and with great communications from the team & excellent value for the service provided. I would definitely recommend Keith Gunn to friends/family and would go to them again for future jobs! Thank you!

Similar pricing to others but better advice on wiring regulation requirements. Electrician was swift, left hardly a trace that he had been and did a great job on our installation - very best and tidy. Thank you!
