Added power circuit to attic room, extended lighting circuit and installed two vintage pendent light fittings to kitchen ceiling, assembled and installed 32 arm crystal chandelier to living room ceiling (ceilings 11ft high). Very good attention to detail, very clean and tidy. Workers turned up on time and were very nice and friendly. Office/management staff regularly in contact and very helpful at arranging visits.
Not necessarily the cheapest electricians in Edinburgh, but fast and reliable, and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be using them for any further domestic electrical works.

Smoke alarms rewired and replaced . Very efficiently and promptly carried out. The workmen courteous and left everything tidy.

I was impressed with this company and will definitely use them again. They came out within two hours, were lovely and easy to deal with and fixed the problem efficiently.

My only 4 star is the value for money as it cost me £72 for a twenty minute job. However, the cost was similar to quotes I received from other electricians.

I had a floodlight fitted to front of my property by Keith Gunn Electrical solutions. The service was prompt, professional, efficient, friendly and tidy. The electrician who fitted the light said that I should ring him if I needed him to come and make any adjustments to the light and he’d be happy to pop by. I had a minor problem with the set-up initially and when I contacted the electrician, he gave me a clear and simple instruction which resolved it straight away.

The only reason that I gave a 4 rather than a 5 for service/product was that the although the floodlight was designed to last for some years, it failed after less than 2 years. However, this was a product failing rather than the fault of Keith Gunn. When I contacted Keith Gunn Electrical to tell them about it, they sent someone out the following day to replace the lighting unit under warranty, without charge. There was no quibble (although they said that if it failed prematurely again, I would need to contact the manufacturer directly). Again, the young electrician who came out was cheerful and friendly, quick and efficient. Although it was his last job on a Friday afternoon, he took time to make sure that the replacement device was set to my requirements.

I would definitely call upon the services of Keith Gunn Electrical in future if the need arose, and would have no problem recommending them.

Fast, reliable service

Replaced a light fitting on ceiling, electrician was punctual and polite, job done in no time at all, and the company were very helpful as I am a disabled war veteran.

I had a call from my tenant to say the kitchen lights weren’t working. I called Keith Gunn and they were able to visit the flat the next day and rectify the problem.
A very efficient and professional service.

Thermostat relocated and new socket and tv aerial fitted.
Initial impressions were good despite our original appointment being rescheduled due to staffing issues. It wasn't until after the job was completed that we realised there had been a breakdown in communication - we had asked for a new thermostat to be fitted at the meeting but instead the old one was relocated. Our failure to check the quotation properly resulted in us not realising this mistake, however we were pleased with the new socket and tv aerial.
I then contacted them to enquire about a new thermostat to replace the re-sited old one and that's when the problems started. I rang on the Monday following the Friday of the work and explained what had happened and then sent a photo of the thermostat to be replaced. Nobody replied all week so I rang again on the Friday, again nobody got back to me. I rang once again the following Monday and once again have been ignored. I did say that if they couldn't afford me the common courtesy of a reply that day then I would take my business elsewhere....so I shall.
My advice to new customers - check the quotation carefully to avoid any errors/differences and should you need any follow up with the company Good Luck!

Keith Gunn Electrical Solutions have completed a number of jobs for me in the past. This included fitting additional wall sockets with USB ports, making safe a faulty socket and most recently fitting a new extractor fan and lighting fixture to my bathroom. I highly recommend this company, they've always been totally professional and turn up at the agreed time and date. 5 star service.
