We have been providing first-class, quality electrical services in Edinburgh for over 30 years and have recently expanded to Glasgow where we offer the same great electrical services. Our team are experienced, highly trained electricians with years of knowledge and service. We pride ourselves in our customer service and a job well done. This was a fairly straightforward repair to a wiring fault. However the electrician (Dan) arrived punctually, swiftly identified the problem and carried out an effective repair. He was very polite and friendly and left the premises immaculate. Would definitely use again in the event of a future problem.

I had a tricky job to replace a power board unit for complicated 'Ingo Mauer' hanging light unit (flickering flames). One call to Simon and Chris at Keith Gunn and the job was estimated and booked. Dan and Jamie turned up at 08:00 and completed the job within 90 minutes. This is my 6th job with Keith Gunn and each time they deliver. Always my first call for any electrical job in Edinburgh.

Electricians from this company have visited the house on three occasions in the last year for different jobs, including retrofitting LED lights in the kitchen, replacing a broken socket, replacing downlights in the hall and replacing an extractor fan in the shower room. On each occasion I was happy with the work done; with the efficiency, politeness, helpfulness and courtesy of the guys doing the work; and with being kept informed of what needed done and was being done. They are now my "go-to" electricians.

We had smoke alarm compliance testing, installation of a new fan and new sockets installed by Keith Gunn. The tradesmen were efficient and knowledgeable and arrived on time, or before. They took great care of our property and protected our furniture and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Would recommend.

We wanted a chandelier light fitting removed and replaced with a standard pendant fitting. Arranging the appointment before hand was a very simple and efficient process and Pedro from Keith Gunn Electrical turned up bang on time and completed the job very quickly. He was very kind and professional, even offering to assist with moving our furniture back into place afterwards. We will definitely use this company in future for any electrical jobs and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

I have used Keith Gunn on a number of occasions and the reason for this is that I know they will provide a good job for a fair price and are good to work with. Most recently they have replaced old and beyond-repair lights in the shared common hall and stairs of my flat and also reset the timer mechanism which was behaving erratically. The turned up when expected, did the work quickly leaving no mess.
After I first used Keith Gunn some years ago I recommended them to a relative who was similarly impressed and so recommended them to a neighbour - that says it all.

I wanted a few lights changed with the company supplying the basic fittings, and I asked if a light switch that turned on two lights could be changed to a double switch. I received a detailed quote before booking the job. Staff on the phone were all very friendly and helpful. The electrician (David) was professional, friendly and cheery - despite having been stuck in traffic. The work was all done quickly, neatly and he cleared up afterwards. David offered to change the switch there and then so everything was completed. Invoice matched the quote with the addition of the cost of the new switch.
I'm really pleased with the service. I have used Keith Gunn Electrical a few years ago for similar and for the stair light in a tenement, and this standard is consistent in my experience.

We had electricity installed in our garden office.
We were really impressed with how quickly Keith Gunn responded to our needs, including giving us a quote and carrying out the word required.
They were extremely helpful, making sure we could also run an intranet cable through the same space. Tidy and polite throughout the work, we couldn't have been happier with the service and would definitely highly recommend this company.

Common stair lighting repairs. Keith Gunn Electrical were very quick to respond, had great communication, turned up when planned, and completed the repairs effectively and quickly. The Electrician (Jamie) was really good: friendly and professional.

Keith Gunn performed a EICR assessment, and then replaced the faulty fuse box, fixed some unsafe wiring, and replaced non-waterproof lighting in the bathroom. They were professional, had good communication, and I have zero complaints about the work done. I will happily use them again if I need more work in the future.

Installed high capacity cable to allow installation of new electric range cooker. Required able to be out of sight, when kitchen and electric consumer unit at opposite ends of house. Electrician was very pleasant punctual and did a good tidy job. He appeared very competent in what he was doing.
