Jake Donald is a very professional and experienced painter and decorator. He leads a small, friendly and hard-working team that work very well together. Their work is to a very high standard and they are punctual and tidy. Before the start Jake discussed the proposed work and quickly provided a thorough and detailed quotation. When the work got underway he had attention to detail, offered advice, solved problems that arose and clearly explained what he was going to do at each stage of the process.

Jake is a credit to his profession - diligent, thorough, reliable and trustworthy. He did two jobs for us - painting and decorating two bedrooms, and also our hallway and stairs, and we are very happy with the results. Jake is by no means the cheapest, but you really do get what you pay for - and there are plenty of slap-it-up merchants out there, whose work you will be redoing in two or three years' time. I asked Jake Donald to refresh all of the white paintwork in my Victorian flat. He called to see the flat and gave an estimate for the work required with precise details of what he would do. I accepted the estimate and the work was carried out to my entire satisfaction. I did not have to make any arrangements before he started workl. He is a very pleasant person who I immediately knew I could trust and he worked solidly for three days without taking any breaks. There wasn't a spot of paint where it shouldn't have been. and everything was put back in place. I had little interruption to my normal way of life. I have engaged him again jobs. As others have already said, Jake did a great job when, in our case, decorating our kitchen. He came on time, did a neat job while working, and left us with a usable kitchen each evening, and job was completed on time and to a high standard. We will certainly be using him again in the near future

Jake did a really good job doing the exterior painting of my house and this included minor repairs to the cladding before applying the wood stain on the dormar windows. Inside painting and wall papering & external painting completed to perfection, with thorough attention to detail and end result of highest standard. An older property, with uneven walls and levels was no problem as Mr Donald is very adept at lateral thinking and problem solving. He may be young but his knowledge, experience, skill and enterprise is remarkable.
