Jake and his team painted the front of my house and also my main bedroom. He turned up on time and was helpful, including helping me change the colour of the exterior paint after they'd started work. Jake was happy to correct any issues I'd spotted and I am happy with the end result.

We have now had Jake in to decorate twice - repeat business says it all! Excellent work, even sanding walls and ceilings to get smooth finish. I cannot fault his work in any way. I never go with the lowest quotation. This was not the lowest quotation but was not the highest. I look, first and foremost, for high quality workmanship, professionalism, a conscientious approach and excellent reviews. These high expectations were met in full by Jake Donald. Jake painted all external surfaces of our detached 1952 home. All roughcast walls, garage doors, front doors, upper floor dormers and front gates were painstakingly and thoroughly prepared (the secret to all quality finishes) prior to application of appropriate metal protective coatings or undercoats followed by two or three coats of paint as required. The look and feel of the finished job is excellent. Jake took his time to ensure that every line and every border was true. All paint used was high quality Dulux Weathershield and which will provide long term protection. My wife and I are over the moon with how this work has transformed the look of our home. I will be asking Jake Donald Painter & Decorator to return at some point in the future to carry out further home improvements. Thank you, Jake.

I had Jake prepare and paint the gutters, downpipes, fascias and soffits of the house. He arrived on time and did a great job. I would efinately use him again.

Jake is a very amiable, pleasant and courteous guy. I got him to repaint the eaves of my house. The work was hampered by the monsoon season at the end of June but he managed to negotiate that very well. The job was made difficult by a) the eaves are made of plywood and during the work several layers came away and b) over the years I have touched them up by daubing black paint on them to leave the paint very thick in places. When they were sanded they were very rough. Jake filled them and they looked very smooth. The first cut looked ok but they weren't good enough for him so he had a second fill of them and a repaint so they look really good. He was going to leave his scaffolding in the back garden and pick it up a couple of days later. A chance comment of my wife was wishing for her garden back resulted in them being removed straightaway. That indicates excellent customer-awareness and customer-focus. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend to a friend.

Jake done an excellent job of decorating my living room, hallway and master bedroom - he was prepared to make himself available at short-notice and no job was too big or small. The work was completed earlier than the timescales initially quoted and I'm very happy with the end product. Would definitely use again!

Jake did an excellent job of painting my drawing room and sorting out some damage done to the ceiling by dampness. He is a very friendly, helpful young man and he left my flat clean and tidy after completion.
