Jimmy Summers is a first class stonemason. His work is of the highest quality and I would have no hesitation if recommending him. He is reliable, his prices are reasonable and he is particularly good Edinburgh stonework

Jimmy and his team did an excellent job of repairs to a sandstone porch and areas around the windows and balcony on a bay front. This involved replacement of some substantial stones as well as refacing others. Very friendly and professional and kept us well informed. Would definitely use JMS Stonemason again and would recommend.

Mr Summers repaired an 130 year old headstone in a local cemetery and we are absolutely delighted with the result. He is very pleasant to deal with - also very professional and efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend him and already have done so.

Fix split copping stones to 26m length of dividing garden wall including pining two halves together and re-bedding on wall, plus re-building some particularly bad sections of the wall.

- repairing and repointing a stone chimney stack, including replacing eroded stone, replacing rusty iron staples with stainless steel ones, replacing one pot and reseating another and redoing the flaunching
- complete two storey rear wall beautifully repointed.

Prompt, friendly service with trained stonemasons taking pride in their job. Summary of each day's work provided and checked that all was satisfactory. Jimmy also often revisits after day has ended to check all is good.
