Will definitely be using Jimmy’s services again. I knew I had made the right decision using this firm to carry out repairs to my front bay window. Jimmy was professional and clearly explained at all times how he was going to fix my deteriorating stonework and even fixed a small hole in my kitchen window along with carrying out some pointing. Communication from start to finish was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for more from a family run business that takes pride in what they do. I will be recommending Jimmy and his team to friends and family in the future.

We have used JMS Stonemason several times over the years and have always been very satisfied with the speed and quality of work carried out. The range of work JMS has carried out for us includes the complete rebuild of one of our stone chimneys, replacement of a window jamb (including hand tooling to match adjacent stones) and repointing the back wall of our house.

I have used JMS for a number of jobs on my flat and have always been happy with their work. This time Jimmy’s son Jamie was repointing my basement walls which were in poor condition. Jimmy quoted for all the work so I knew the full cost beforehand. Jamie arrived promptly each morning and explained what was going on each day. I would highly recommend JMS and hope to use them again in the future.

Jimmy and his team repointed our garden wall. As so many others have noted, he / they were reliable, courteous, trustworthy and friendly. Best of all. he did a tremendous job which has already been noticed and admired by others. I am extremely pleased to have discovered Jimmy and cannot recommend him too highly. Needless to say he is always very busy and may not be able to fit you in immediately. However, if you can afford to wait for him, then do. It will be worth it!!

Being a retired tradesman (electrician - 30 years) I like to think that I could spot a poor or dodgy tradesman when I saw one. I can say quite categorically that this stonemason (Mr Summers) is highly experienced in his trade and informs you from start to finish how the work should be done and is completely trustworthy.
