At J & E MacGregor Ltd., we aim to provide a reliable, friendly and quality service for all types of plumbing, heating and gas, throughout the Edinburgh area.
From minor maintenance and repair through to complete kitchen, bath & shower room refurbishments. We can also supply and install a wide range of gas fires, along with aftercare maintenance and servicing.
We also carry out boiler servicing, through to full boiler and heating system replacements, and can provide free estimates for these projects. We can also carry out Landlord Certification, if required.
We use only fully trained and qualified engineers to provide our service and are established members of SNIPEF, the Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering, SEPA, Safe Contractor and The Gas Safe Register.

There were operation problems with a Saniflow toilet, this was investigated, adjusted and tested. Now working satisfactorily.
Pricing seemed fair and the service was both professional and friendly.

We have used MacGregor's for many years, to service our gas boiler and radiators, and for plumbing in the bathroom. They have been unfailingly reliable - punctual, clean and tidy, high standard of work and fair prices. They have also saved us money by giving us good advice. A small repair was done to replace my leaking mains stopcock. Came within 36 hours and did the swap quickly. Smooth process to issue the invoice by email, which suited me, with options for online payment or payment by bank transfer. Good advice on the phone during the first contact.
