We are specialists in EICR Tests (Electrical Installation Condition Report), PAT testing, Fire Alarm Testing & Maintenance, Emergency Light Testing, Inspections & Certificates, Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Gas Safety Checks & Certificates, Electrical Repairs, Fuse Board Replacements, Smoke Alarm Installation and EV Charger installation, Lead testing, Lead Water Testing and CCTV installations.
From a security side we install smart door bells, intruder and wireless burglar alarms.
We are open 5 days a week and can work out of hours when requested. We are proud of our excellent customer ratings for our landlord certification and installation on Edinburgh Trusted Trader. We have a great office team who are ready to advise and assist"

The company was very easy to communicate with to receive a quote and set up the works. I especially liked how easy the online invoice system was. The price was reasonable and the electricians professional. I have only marked down from 5 stars as there was a delay on the day and there was some minor damage to recently painted ceilings.

Had Landlord safety checks carried out. Mark could not have been more helpful. Very efficient process. Would not hesitate to recommend. IES are now my “go to” for electrical and gas problems.

We had EICR, PAT and Fire Alarm certificates for a rental property, and then a new fuse box installed after failing EICR.
Used them a few times now and they always turn up for appointment at times given, have even allowed us to reschedule at short notice without penalty. They give clear quotes and prices up front which i like, although seem expensive for hourly rate £60/hour, but every electrician we have used for rental properties seem to charge a lot now.
They send quotes, invoices, receipts and certificates all electronically, which again we really appreciate in order to keep our records straight.
Only pain is not being able to pay online, have to phone the office to pay by card, but are all helpful and pleasant.
Considering using them exclusively for our rental business now as they have yet to let us down.
