We are specialists in EICR Tests (Electrical Installation Condition Report), PAT testing, Fire Alarm Testing & Maintenance, Emergency Light Testing, Inspections & Certificates, Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Gas Safety Checks & Certificates, Electrical Repairs, Fuse Board Replacements, Smoke Alarm Installation and EV Charger installation, Lead testing, Lead Water Testing and CCTV installations.
From a security side we install smart door bells, intruder and wireless burglar alarms.

Having recently moved I'd asked IES to conduct a number of jobs around the flat, including updating 3 old fuse boxes for a completely new system. IES carried out a safety check and some upgrading of my electrics in April 2018. I found them administratively organised and responsive, and pleasant and easy to deal with both in the office and on the job. A couple of minor snagging issues were promptly and efficiently dealt with. But for those I'd have given full marks.

Helpful and experienced - happy customer! Correctly diagnosed and fixed a complex issue with my cooker/wiring/fuse box that previous engineers had failed to fix - great advice and product recommendations. Came out for a second review of the situation at no additional cost which was appreciated. The price was also very reasonable.

We own some properties in Edinburgh and use Ideal Electrical Solutions for all the Landlord Checks. The electricians are very friendly, making me aware of any issues and resolving them. I feel their prices are fair and immediately on payment the certificates are emailed. I would definately recommend this company.
