I phoned IES in the morning because a smoke alarm that couldn't be opened was bleeping and they arrived within a couple of hours and replaced the old faulty alarm and installed the extra linked ones required for the Scottish regulations - and for my peace of mind.

I needed some light fixtures replaced. It included 2 chandeliers, a regular light fitting, replacing a bayonet fixture that had eroded, and replacing 9 spotlights. The electricians were fabulous. IES did a full house rewire for me and the job was done within a week and timing was exactly as planned. I did have to move out to allow for that rapid completion of the work, but given the disruption that a rewire causes I was happy to get out of the way. The team was very efficient and good at explaining things and asking questions of me in a timely way.
