My name is Cristopher Igoe, I am the managing director at IGOE UP LTD.
I would like to tell you a little bit about our services and describe how we can provide you with a service.

I have been a steeplejack for 28 years, and in that time I have worked for a number of Steeplejack and Stonemasonry companies in Scotland. During this time, I have inspected and repaired numerous residential, commercial, and industrial properties and estates. in 2021, I decided to establish my own company as a result of an identified niche in the market; to offer customers safe and quality repairs, that last, at a very competitive price.

Over the last 4 years our company principles have not changed, we have grown in a very controlled manner which has allowed us to keep our high standards. we currently work on some of the most historic buildings in Scotland, which I think is a testament to our high standards of workmanship and working practices.

Quality Repairs That Last

Many people seek repairs at height from companies that offer rope access to qualified staff only. What this often means is that their employees are qualified to access hard-to-reach areas at height, but are not qualified to undertake the repairs once they are there. Qualified Steeplejacks, like myself, are qualified to undertake multiple trades at height, including welding, stonemasonry, etc. I have an understanding of the composite of building materials and what product would be best suited to use in combination, to ensure a lasting repair.

Trust and Honesty

Because all of the work that we undertake at height cannot be easily inspected by our customers, on every job we ensure that our customers are provided with an inspection and visual pictures of the issue before and after so you can see the quality of our workmanship. Our values of honesty mean that we can attract more customers on the basis that we have honestly priced remedial works and can be trusted not to take advantage of people and businesses.

Safety

Our people do not compromise on safety; their own, the public, or customers. All of our work and our equipment are safety-checked and scrutinized by an external health and safety company that makes sure we are compliant with statutes and regulations. We care about our staff and the people who help to make our company what it is – our customers.
We also hold a Chas common assessment standard certification which is a gold standard accreditation.

Competitive Pricing

Unlike many of the other larger Steeplejack companies, we are a small, proud company with reduced overheads; we do not have large premises and expensive vehicles to maintain. As a result, we are able to pass savings onto our customers and are able to offer discounts as a reward to those who recommend us to others.
