We needed to get a broken door lock replaced at fairly short notice (the door was jammed stuck, I was late for work, etc.). Richard turned up when he said he would and the lock was replaced quickly and without any fuss.

I found out that I lost my key when i was traveling back to Edinburgh after visiting family 500 miles away.
I contacted Richard in the train on my way back to Edinburgh, and picked his company because of the good reviews, and because he immediately responded to my phone call. I did not have to leave a message or fill in a form to get a quote or go through an endless menu on the phone.
When I finally arrived after a looooong journey, he was at my place at the time we arranged, changed the lock and got me back in the house within 10 minutes.
Richard was kind, pleasant, and professional. It was a joy to meet him.
if it was possible I would rate him 10 stars and recommend him to everyone.

Very friendly service - Richard called me back on the same day I emailed, told me what the basic charge would be and made sure I was OK with that prior to the visit. He gave me a rough idea of when he'd visit, and on the arranged day he phoned to let me know he was on his way.

The job was done quickly, and now I have a UPVC door which finally closes & locks/unlocks easily after 21 years of putting up with using 'the knack' to do it. I'm delighted - as is my daughter who could never master it!

Replacement stair door lock fitted and 34 keys supplied. The locksmith prepared the keys in advance so it was easy to arrange fitting the new lock as everyone already had their keys. Was on time, efficient and personable. I would certainly use his services again.

I broke a handle on a PVC window straight after moving in to a new house on a Friday evening. It was fixed straight away and this allowed me to secure the property. Richard was friendly, fast,and great value for money. I asked him back to replace a front door lock. Again the service was top notch. Would recommend.

My front door handle locking mechanism was becoming increasingly stiff to open and close and I couldn't work out what the problem was. I phoned Hero Locksmiths and Richard arrived in 20 minutes, checked a few potential problems, identified the issue and fixed it. Very speedy and efficient, and a nice bloke. Great service.

The locksmith was at the house within 20 minutes of being contacted.
He replaced the lock after cutting through the lock in order to open the door. He cut the extra keys I needed in his van which is a real bonus as he checked they were all working.
He was efficient, professional and I would use him again. His charge for the whole job was very reasonable.

Called for some advice regarding what I needed to satisfy my new house insurance. Richard came out same day, phoned in advance to check I was in, and looked at the doors and windows I was querying. He confirmed that I needed nothing done, and did not charge me for the visit. He was very helpful, friendly and extremely responsive to my query. I would call him again if I have any problems.
