G&M Decorators

This is our second review of G&M Decorators (Graham). Having previously reviewed their excellent work in our kitchen, we asked then to return to paper and paint our lounge. The lounge is a double room, and the ceiling in one area was particularly in need of repair.

As before, they (Graham & Billy) turned up on time, worked continually and professionally and completed the job to the timescale agreed. I wont say more than, they are a pleasure to have in the house, they respect your home and do an excellent job. My wife is delighted and that says everything!

I recommend G&M Decorators without hesitation. We will not go anywhere else for our decorating needs.

Graham did an excellent job on my living room. He discussed all my preferences and options clearly and thoroughly and was professional, efficient and considerate throughout.

Billy and Graham did a fantastic job painting my bedroom! The job ended up being more more work than expected due to hidden issues with the wallpaper and they were very accommodating with this change. With their busy schedule Billy and Graham were clear about timescales and managed my expectations in a professional manner. They were respectful of my home and were considerate of my current home working situation. They left the room in a clean and tidy condition and I felt very comfortable having them in my home. From the very first point of contact, to completion of the job today, Graham was a consummate professional. He agreed to call to estimate our job(s). He was punctual on arrival, thorough in estimating the job(s) and showed that he was highly knowledgeable in the advice/guidance he provided. Graham's quote was received in good time, accepted and a date to start the job agreed.

The first of out two jobs was our kitchen/dining room. It's a (very) large room. The job consisted of, preparation and painting walls and ceiling (two colours), and varnishing all of the doors and woodwork.

Graham and his partner Billy turned up on time and as agreed. They had sourced the particular colours we had requested and were ready to start on arrival. They took great care to ensure cabinets, worktops, furniture and flooring was protected with dustsheets. The job proceeded quickly, and was concluded on time. I have to say that the quality of their work was excellent, and we really are delighted with the end result. Mrs S mentioned how neat and tidy they were as they worked, we appreciated this.

Both Graham and Billy were extremely pleasant, polite and respectful. We have already scheduled more work from Graham. If you're looking for a company that you can trust, provides an excellent service for a fair price, and respects your home/property as they work, you wont go wrong with G&M Decorators.

My bathroom and hall.
They have great workmanship. Turned up on time, very respectful with the furniture and personal items and had the place immaculate for me returning home. It was like a new flat! Great to have a trustworthy contractor who leaves a fantastic result. Will use them again for my bedroom and sitting room later in the year!

Graham has done work for me inside and outside for many years. Always very happy with the finish. The place is kept nice and tidy, no residual mess. Most recent work was the gutters and downpipes. They look great now, good as new. Always turns up on time and does what he says he will do.

Both external and internal. Graham is meticulous in his preparation. He thoroughly protects everything with either fabric or plastic sheets. The completed work is perfect. I'll be ringing him again shortly. GTC

Graham has painted almost all our house inside and out over the years . I trust him and have come to rely on him as our go to decorator. He does a quality job .

I used G&M Decorating for a small but intricate decorating job in an en-suite bathroom with very high ceilings and lots of fixtures and fittings to work around. I was really impressed with the quality of the workmanship - Graham and Billy must be perfectionists as the work was completed to an incredibly high standard. Just perfect. They were also a pleasure to have in the house and left the place absolutely perfect. I was also really happy with the price and will definitely use them in the future. I have known Graham for at least 25 years. He has painted or papered every room in my house, as well as all the exterior painting. His work is of the highest quality and he has kept my home in excellent shape. Graham is completely honest and trustworthy and is very experienced in all aspects of his trade.
