In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and acquaint you more fully with our services and facilities. Throughout our careers we have learnt that services and quality is every bit as important as price.
We appreciate our customers and believe we are big enough to matter and small enough to care. Our personal aims are to share our experiences over the past 30 years with valued customers and ensure our work is to 100% quality standards carried out by fully qualified tradesmen.

Requested a quote for a check up of our roof after a few slates became loose and the surrounds looked aged. We had concerns due to the building being listed and 200 years old, Jason provided a full detailed quote including pictures of work required which was provided within days. Work was carried out promptly to a very high standard and Jason was on hand to answer any questions.

I requested a quotation for replacing my garage roof from several companies but Guy and Jason were the only ones to respond. I got my quote next day, they came when they said they would, did a perfect job, were brilliant at keeping me in touch, coped with the unexpected without any fuss, and tidied up afterwards. A missing piece of guttering was fitted two days later with the same polite good humour which characterised the whole process. I'm scoring them 100% and recommend them unreservedly.

Jason gave me a quote but when the work started additional work was required.
Guy and I discussed the problem and came to an agreement.

Prompt visit and quote on the same day. Work started within 7 days of quote. Work efficiently carried out in 2 days to the highest specification and workmanship. Very professional company.

Jason came round to discuss work needed shortly after contact made. Well mannered. Quote for job sent quickly and having accepted most immediate task undertaken straight away with agreement on timescale to undertake other jobs reached. Guys who did the work were very personable and carried out work efficiently.

Repair was for a leaking roof. Jason came out, explained what was likely to be the issue and promptly provided an estimate. The quote was the highest we received but we were impressed by Jason and his professionalism and got the feeling that the work would be carried out to a high standard with the minimum of fuss. The guys sent out to fix the problem were great, discussed the issue and got the job done. Would definitely use again and recommend unreservedly.

We were more than happy with this company. Guy was extremely honest and talked us through the options we had when he discovered a problem and agreed that the choice we made was what he would have done himself. We really appreciated that honesty. The lads who did the job were very friendly and completed the job efficiently. Would highly recommend this firm and I can see why they have such good reviews.

From first contact to arranging a visit to the house to gauge the scale of the work, issuing a quote and executing the job, the whole experience has been smooth, fast and excellent. Great job of replacing old flat extension roof. Good advice on options, no hidden extras, pulled all the stops out to get us weather tight quickly during the winter weather. Good guys and would definitely recommend.

Jason has done work for me before so I had no hesitation in contacting him when water marks started appearing on my en suite ceiling. On investigation he found the the problem was the extractor tubing which had come away from the outlet and was filling with water. Jason reattached the tubing and secured it to a rafter to avoid a repetition of the problem. He then refused to charge me for the work.

I phoned GW&JS Roofing after discovering some issues with my pantile roof. Jason from GW&JS came round quickly and went over the roof thoroughly. He took numerous photos and showed me the areas that required fixing - mainly cracked roof tiles. I decided to go ahead after receiving a very reasonable quote. Within days Jason was back round and all my roof tiles were fixed/replaced. Again, photos were provided (something I consider to be very important given I can't normally validate this sort of work myself). I highly recommend Jason and GW&JS. The quoted price was extremely good and very reasonable. The standard of work is second to none - the pre and post job photos were hugely helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to use Jason again.

Very impressed with the service I received from GW &JS Construction Ltd. Had a couple of leaks in roof that required emergency attention, Jason Staines was able to help out of hours and repair and assess damage quickly and efficiently. Quotes were on time and work was done when said. I would highly recommend this company, no job is too big or small.

A few months back I used this firm to replace and repair some cast iron rhones. They also replaced some timber fascia and added UPVC cladding on the gable end of my house.
Right from the start I felt at ease with Guy and Jason and was given confidence to use them after looking at the reviews on here.
The work was completed on budget and on time but there were a couple of residual leaks the next time it rained.
They sent out an extremely professional tradesman to remedy the issue. Rather than do a quick fix he found the root cause and fixed it. Not only that but he took photos to show me his work.
Although I was initially disappointed that the work had issues (turns out this was due to a now ex-employee) the fact that it was fixed to such a high standard allows me to highly recommend this company. And keep in mind that 90% of the original work was perfectly fine.
They are easy to deal with, commercially competitive and to work to a high standard.

GW & JS Construction came round very quickly in response to my request for a quote. He carried out a detailed survey of my house and showed me photos of areas which needed work.
He supplied a quote the next day and did not pressure me in any way to proceed with this. We obtained quotes from two other firms for the same work which were 50% and 90% more expensive!
There work has been completed and it looks to be of a very high standard.
We are very please we went with GW & JS and would recommend them to anyone.
