In October 2012 GW & JS Roofing LLP was established with partners Guy Wright (Guy Wright Ltd ) & Jason Staines (JAS Roofing Specialist Ltd), We’re delighted to say that things have gone from strength to strength and our new company was incorporated on 13th February 2014 and trading commenced from 1st July 2014.

After heavy rain I experienced water pouring through my roof to my ceiling. Jason attended and dealt swiftly with an immediate fix around my dormer where the problem was. The full repair was organised on a date of my preference with the cost estimate becoming the actual cost. Helpful approach throughout with full explanation at every stage. Safety also seemed important as were manners! Thank you. Pleasure to deal with.

Repair to chimney and new gutters. Quote given very reasonable. My aerial looked very shaky and they recommended an aerialist look at it. I made the call and aerialist arrived and on inspection he could see it was completely broken - been up for more than 40 years - and showed me faulty wiring and mast stand hanging by a thread so new one replaced.
New gutters painted inside and out. Chimney pot very loose and whilst repairing it the guys also noticed 2nd chimney not so good so repaired that also at no extra cost. Guys were very friendly and work went very smoothly.
All in all job well done!

Quick response to enquiry and prompt visit. Fair assessment of state of roof and recommended solution for current cracked gutter problem. Immediate quote for cracked gutter patching repair which I accepted and work carried out there and then. Pleased with result.
Invoice submitted by email and I made prompt payment via BACS.
I requested quote for the other recommended maintenance work. This was promptly forwarded via email for our consideration.

This is the second job I have used this company for as I was so impressed the first time. The service and their communication is second to none and the workmanship cannot be faulted. Really nice guys too. We have just had our rhones, downpipes and facings prepared and painted. Some companies might have gone ahead and painted them despite the cold weather but they were honest enough to let us know the consequences should they have carried on. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate in using them again.

Excellent service from initial inspection of the work required to completion of the job. Jason and Guy were very thorough in their approach to assessing the job. The work was scheduled promptly and the team who carried out the repairs were fantastic and really lovely guys. Would not hesitate to recommend any of the team involved with our repairs. Found the quote and final invoice to be extremely fair and an excellent standard of work. Excellent experience with this company.

I had a leaking roof and also a cracked chimney stack which needed attention. Jason arrived at appointed time for initial inspection and then followed up with quote and photos of roof issues later that day. I was kept up to date with progress and made aware of additional issues as they arose and was pleased that the job was completed on time and in budget. Jason, Guy and the team are all very professional, friendly and efficient and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

The work done on my garage roof and guttering was completely satisfactory. Following the initial visit, the work was scheduled quickly and carried out efficiently. The workmen were friendly, polite and explained what they would be doing. I shall certainly use this firm again and am happy to recommend them.

I have used GW&JS for over 10 years and have found that they provide a professional, efficient customer-focused service. Jason, as always, provided good advice and ensured that I was informed throughout. The team arrived punctually on the scheduled day, completed the works as planned and left the site clean and tidy. Guy fully described the issues found, the work undertaken and also checked the integrity of the rest of the roof. I would have no hesitation in recommending GW&JS Construction and would certainly use them again.

I asked GWJS to check our roof for possible leak and to give me a quote. Jason came early in the morning and did his inspection. He found out that the window on our attic needs sealant applied. So he went back to his van and got his tools and ladder. He resealed the sides of the window and did not charge me for it eventhough I insisted to pay. Jason was very professional, courteous, friendly, very tidy and honest. I highly recommend GWJS Roofing and I will be spreading their company name to all of my friends!

I noticed some watermarks on my ceiling so called GWJS to come inspect my roof and to provide a quotation. Jason arrived on time and after his inspection he noted some minor crack on the chimney which is where he thinks the water is getting into the roof. He applied a sealant to the crack and didn't charge me for it. He also helped me sort out a slipped tile while he was up on the roof. Jason was very friendly and polite. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I contacted them back in Feb 2016 and they did a great job of sorting my leaking roof. All of the team were very polite and competent. They certainly know what they are doing. I had a small blockage in the pipe which caused the water to soak the kitchen carpet during the night and I called Jason who came down and within seconds discovered the pipe was partly blocked and did the job there and then. If you need somebody--CALL JASON. You can have every faith in them.

I have had Jason attend to several roofing issues in two different houses over the past 5 years and always found the service provided to be prompt, courteous, efficient and good value for money. I recently contacted the firm about a small niggling problem on the very day Jason was off on holiday, but was pleased to wait till he returned, phoned me back and attended to the issue at the first opportunity. The standard of workmanship and the expert knowledge of the roofing trade which he displays makes me confident that the matter is being resolved in the best way. I would not hesitate to use them again.
